Burg Nideggen is situated in the Eifel, a region known for great walks, and can surely be a perfect stop during a tour. The castle and the grounds have been beautifully restored and once you climb up several flights of stairs, there are beautiful sights of the area. There is a museum on the ground that we have not visited, but the castle itself is impressive and has a great atmosphere, it is something even kids would enjoy.

Wij zijn niet helemaal naar de.burcht gegaan maar hebben.hem wel van afstand gezien. De omgeving is schitterend, mooi uitzicht, bos, natuur en hoge rotsen die beklommen kunnen worden..
Boobietour

nur ein Teil der Anlage ist erhalten, dieser aber sehr schön restauriert, der kleine Spaziergang vom Ortskern entlohnt mit spektakulären Blicken über das Rurtal, die Gastronomie läd zum Verweilen ein. Empfehlenswerter Ausflug (ca. 15km von Düren)

Alles was uitstekend. Vooral voor de wandelaars is het een must.In de Kerk St. Mokka is een informatiecentrum of anders in Nideggen.
