Dear Peter P., thanks a lot for this nice feedback. It is great to hear that you had a fun time at our park. Trapper SLIDER definitely is one of our top rides! Looking forward to having you again at FORT FUN, maybe earlier than after another 15 years ;-)

We went here for 2 days in a row. Sadly enough it was raining both days. The park offers a kind of rain-insurance: for 1 euro you can come back for free another day if it is raining on the original day of visiting. Too bad we live too far away to take them up on this deal, but: great idea!Apart from that: the park isn't that big, so 2 days was a bit too much anyway...(since it was raining it was really quiet in the park and we could walk through to all the attractions, no queuing. And ticket prices online can be really cheap!)Maybe it was due to the rain, but almost all staff members were ill-tempered on both days (with the exception of one crew member the second day at the speed snake).I might have seen too many amusement parks over the last year and I might have gotten spoiled by that, but I really have some issues that need some work:The biggest annoyance was that there are no cash machines in the park. I think they would earn more if there are several point where you can load up on cash. Now we had to go back to the entrance of the park where we could obtain money at the service desk, but we had to pay a fee of 4 euros per transaction, outrageous!(Since the park isn't situated near a place where you could easily find a bank (a village is about 5 kilometres further), this was our only way to get cash at that point, so: if you decide to go: make sure you have cash on you!)Due to the rain there was only one show, the one in the saloon (Variety show), which was okay, not spectacular, but entertaining enough. As I understand it, the show outside (Tala Takenya) has received several prices, so really our loss that we have missed that. We also saw the Old McDonald show, I guess we are just too old for that, the little ones seemed to enjoy themselves... Although: just like a lot of other attractions at the park: it needs a bit of fresh paint, a bit of a touch up.Don't know why, but Rio Grande was closed while we were there, which was a pitty. I also found it to be strange that attractions were closed since staff members went of to lunch...One other thing that needs some work: while waiting in line for an attraction (which we didn't do at all, but when we would have done that...) you want to be entertaint, not (only) by performances etc., but mainly with furnishing. I missed that with most attractions: the attractions have nice names, but not much to substantiate that. Okay: the exception is Devils mine, there they have really made an effort, enjoyed that while walking to the mine- train.A new attraction is the Secret Stage of horror, in which the furnishing is great, looks really good, but for a haunted house... it really wasn't that scary. But still nicely done. Oh yeah, what I really loved were the toilets near the saloon, hilarious, so if you have to go: go there (especially when you're a guy).Another new feature is the Horse shoe bbq. The concept is great: you can purchase a barbecue package with meat, potatoes, salad, charcoal etc. and rent a grilling spot and have a nice barbecue with your family in Western atmosphere. It isn't expensive at all and looks great.Much better than other food-offerings at the park, which are a bit meagre. They might want to substitute the plain food with themed food, some Mexican stuff in the cantina, ribs and beans in the saloon and maybe taco chips to go with the beer, bigger and better burgers near Beverly Hills drive (didn't really care for the burger buns they serve) and fresh popcorn and muffins. Maybe they can take a look at food served in other German parks (Moviepark and Heidepark). We ate a meal at the restaurant near the Saloon (the cantina so to speak) and the chips were way too salty, not really an appealing meal, missed opportunity for the park.Also: there is only one souvenir shop. They could have some themed shops throughout the park...We did enjoy ourselves, despite of the rain, but it could have been much better!

Our German friends took us here and we all had a great time!We arrived around 11:30am and left at 7pm! I think that explains how much we all enjoyed it. Think more theme parks in England need to adopt the pricing method based on the height of the child like they do here.The favourite attractions were obviously the water rides but the "Trapper Slider" was a huge hit!

Der Fort Fun Park ist mehr was für Familien mit kleinen Kindern. Große Attraktionen sucht man hier vergebens. Dafür ist er in einer wunderschönen Landschaft eingebettet und hat eine super lange Rutschbahn die wirklich einmalig ist. Die Wildwasserbahn ist auch sehr schön und ansonsten gibt es noch 2 kleinere Achterbahnen und verschiedene andere kleine Attraktionen. Wer mit Familie einen Picknick Ausflug machen will ist hier richtig, für Leute die mehr Nervenkitzel brauchen allerdings nicht zu empfehlen. Ansonsten ist der Park sehr sauber und die Mitarbeiter recht freundlich.

Stedet vækker minder, vi er kommet til stedet næsten fra dets begyndelse, hvor kun rutchebane på bjerget var til stede, til hvad det er i dag. Det er et fantastisk sted for både voksne og børn, med cowboy temaet i højsæde. Absorlut et besøg værd.

Um Parque muito legal, com brinquedos atraentes, num local lindo, natureza pura, um ar maravilhoso. O trem que leva para os passeios internos é ótimo. Se chove eles te devolvem o dinheiro, mas por sorte pegamos dia bom um pouco nublado.

Fort Fear ist ein echtes Highlight für den Livegruselkick! Aber auch ganzjährig ist Fort Fun ein sehr sympathischer Park mit freundlichem Personal und ein paar echten Highlights (Trapper Slider, Rio Grande, Sheriff Fuzzi) für die ganze Familie zum fairen Preis.Der Trapper Slider sucht in Deutschland seinesgleichen, die Show um Sheriff Fuzzi ist ein echter Brüller. Kein Disney Land und kein Europa-Park, aber das will es auch gar nicht sein.

Sehr geehrter Theo274,zunächst einmal freuen wir uns sehr, dass Sie Ihre NRW Tour zum Anlass genommen haben, uns zu besuchen und dass Sie einen schönen Tag inklusive Halloween Veranstaltung hatten! Das Halloween-Event war an diesem Tag wirklich sehr gut besucht, sodass die Wartezeit für die Tickets zu den Horror-Attraktionen lang war. Diese Tickets werden erst ab 16 Uhr separat im Park verkauft, da die Veranstaltung erst um 16 Uhr beginnt und viele Gäste speziell für Halloween auch erst um diese Uhrzeit anreisen. Auf diese Weise möchten wir gewährleisten, dass auch diese Gäste die gleiche Chance auf ein Ticket für eine Halloween-Attraktion haben. Wir möchten den Eintrittspreis für die Horror-Attraktionen auch weiterhin separat erheben und nicht einen regulären Halloween-Eintrittspreis inklusive aller Horror-Attraktionen einführen, da wir immer auch Gäste haben, die beispielsweise nur die schöne Atmosphäre des Parks bei Nacht oder auch nur eine der Horror-Attraktionen erleben wollen. So kann jeder für sich selbst entscheiden, ob er oder sie das zusätzliche Angebot nutzen möchte.
