I only just got around to posting my underwater photos to Facebook and realised that I didn’t leave Babis of Water Planet Paxos a very well deserved review.In June I visited Paxos with a view to undertaking the PADI Scuba Diver course, and signed up with Water Planet.It was an absolute pleasure not only to finally get that certification card (woo hoo!) but also to have the opportunity to meet and spend time with Babis. He’s a great teacher and I had every confidence in him throughout. Due to my medical position I did have some concerns about the course but Babis took those on board and made adjustments to suit me. He was very accommodating and understanding and I really appreciated his time and patience.I would have no hesitation in recommending Babis or Water Planet Paxos. 5 stars and thoroughly deserved.

Babis, the owner, is a competent instructor and extremely friendly guy, even outside of the scuba diving context. We went with him for several dives and enjoyed it very much. The rest of the team is great too. We borrowed most of our dive gear at the center and it was shipshape. Highly recommended.

I completed my Padi open water with Babis at Water Planet in May. Babis made the whole course relaxing and made sure it fitted in with our holiday too. Towards the end of the week he also took our daughter on a try dive experience which she loved and was extremely patient with her building her confidence in the water.I wouldn't hesitate to dive with Babis again should we be lucky enough to find ourselves in Paxos. As others have mentioned, there isn't a huge amount of sealife (around any of Paxos) however we did go to numerous beaches, a wreck and a cave....Thanks Babis!

Go and see Babis at his base in gaios, you won't regret it! He is very friendly, knows all the good dive spots and makes the whole experience very chilled and relaxed. There isn't much big fish life to see, but there's interesting caves & ship wrecks and the visibility was superb! We were lucky enough to go as a couple, just us and Babis, for two days of diving and had lots of fun. Highly recommended.

Went diving with Babis and Demetris twice, and found Babis and his team extremely professional, competent and loads of fun. I have a PADI Open Water certificate but dont go diving very often so I might have been a tiny bit scared initially :) but being with someone who is relaxed, in control and super nice made my diving experience in Paxos one of the best ever. Babis and his team are excellent instructors!! And great with children! I saw them with my friend's child being absolutely fantastic. I would thoroughly recommend them.

We went with another family and all 10 of us did a 'Discover Scuba Diving' package with Babis. He was so good that we went back and all did a second dive. It was a highlight of the holiday. He has an excellent, relaxed, competent manner. Thoroughly recommended.

Staying in a traditional , ionian style , home was for us a unique and great experience! Trully homelike comfort and feel. We had had the chance to meet new friends and hang around. For me, being a diver was the best compination. Babis and George are great and diving there was super!! The hole island is beautiful , small and easy to go around. Best memories best recomendations!!

Did my PADI Open Water qualification (& then my advanced) with Babis, the owner of Water Planet dive centre in Paxos. From the very first dive I did with Babis, he was fantastic in calming my nerves, even on the sea bed when I had to take my BCD off as part of my PADI course. He does Discover Scuba courses & even in the swimming pool in your villa if you prefer. A total gentleman & now a great friend, couldn't recommend him highly enough.Thanks for all your valued advice Babis & helping me to do something I've always dreamed of doing.

I visit Paxos at least once a year and everytime I make sure I go diving with WaterPlanet dive centre. The staff are all friendly and know what they are talking about. I even took my 70 year old step father for a try dive as he wanted to know why I liked diving so much. The staff were helpful and made the try dive a pleasure.I hope to go again soon and will be going back to Water Planet to get some diving done. They have all the equipment to use if you do not want to take all of your own equipment with you.Some great dives around paxos including a wreck, plenty of caves and scenic diving. Always a pleasure to dive with any of the team from this dive centre.

The owner, Babis is fantastic at making the whole experience fun, safe and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of age or experience. The rest of the diver instructors are equally professional. There is great knowledge of the local diving spots and they are willing to work with you and match the dive with the experience and expectation of all participants. You will seldom find a more patient, good-humored and fun crew to work with. Diving gear for rent are fairly new and very well maintained. Very highly recommended
