Our hosts were simply terrific! They were patient with us and we felt really safe although we never rode before... We had a great time riding on the beach and enjoying the local sites.

We have visited Kos many times now, and have enjoyed riding through the salt lake or along the beach for beautiful sunset rides, which is a must do! It doesn't matter whether you are the most experienced rider or novice, Gina and Yannis will happily cater for all and make your ride special for you. You will not be disappointed, guaranteed! This experience actually makes our holiday to Kos special for us.

we have just had the perfect time at salt lake stables marmari kos Greece...gina and yannis are great ...they cater for all .experienced right down to non riders... a horse for everyone...they provide a pick up if you got no transport...they provide boots and clothing and of course a hat..l had a lovely conversation with yannis while we were on our hack...give him your camera and he takes your pictures...we went around the salt lake then on to the beach....wonderful...when we got back gina was waiting for us what a girl the perfect host... they provide you with drinks with no charge.. all this for a mere 25 euros..... its a must for you to experience...it took me back to my teenage time when l used to ride.....and they also take on rescue cats and dogs...what a pair of darlings..

Amazing.. I did it with my 2 daughters (11years old and 14years) and w just loved it.. W are beginners but the horses r so well trained so u don't need any experience in riding. It was Really Great to ride 1hour on the sandy beach then next to the salt lake!! When u r in Kos, it 's a Must to Do. They send a car to pick up u from ur hotel. The driver is so kind. And the owner of the horse stable Gina and Yanni r so sweet too. They have the clothes for riding for free in case u r not equiped.

myself and 2 daughters ages 12 and 8 have now done 4 rides with Gina and Yannis and each time we loved the experience, the freedom, the beauty, the very well behaved and well loved horses and ponies. Yannis took great care to ensure we were all happy and as we all love a good canter he catered for that perfectly. Gina is an amazing character, full of energy and passion for what they have in Mamari and she just adds to the whole experience, lovely to have a beer with at the end of the ride - a free one too!!! If you want perfection go elsewhere, if you want a great experience of riding with freedom then go here.

I recently went to kos with my girlfriend, her being an experienced rider and me never ever done this. For her, we found this off the beaten track and decided to participate. Run by a couple, decided to do the sunset ride from 6.30-8.30 and can't begin to tell you how lovely it was even from a beginners perspective so my girlfriend as you can guess loved it. The condition of the horses were lovely, and the picturesque views the ride allows you to see are worth the money alone even if you were walking! 2 hours at various paces was a bit much for my back having no riding experience and you don't get shown any techniques of standing, riding, holding reigns etc which lucky my girlfriend gave me some pointers. Overall though I would admit, had a fab time and for 40 euros with transfers 5 euro a head, great value for money and glad we can share it together as a great memory.

Ci siamo avvicinati a questo maneggio per curiosità e per vedere i cavalli che piacciono molto a mia figlia più piccola ed abbiamo conosciuto una famiglia meravigliosa! Gina e Yannis non solo amano i cavalli e li tengono come si addice ad un membro della propria famiglia ma riescono a farti sentire a casa nonostante ci si trovi in un paese distante dal proprio. I cavalli sono tutti molto equilibrati, alcuni per rider esperti altri anche per neofiti; obbediscono a semplici comandi vocali. Dopo la passeggiata sulla spiaggia al tramonto (che consiglio assolutamente per il paesaggio e l'emozione che rimane nel cuore e va benissimo anche per chi non è mai andato a cavallo) verrete invitati a bere gratuitamente con il vostro accompagnatore. Noi siamo rimasti con queste persone splendide fino alle 4 del mattino a mangiare pollo allo spiedo, patate alla brace e peperoni grigliati! Bella compagnia, bella musica, illuminati dal falò sulla sabbia e dalla luna piena che splende in questo cielo terso di un'isola perfetta...farete come noi e alla fine scoprirete che siete stati ospiti perché queste persone vi regalano emozioni, cordialità e simpatia e non vogliono denaro in cambio. Gli basta la vostra felicità. Se siete aperti alla semplicità, al contatto con i cavalli e al calore umano questo è il posto per voi! Non occorrerà che vi muniate di stivali, cap, calzini o pantaloni lunghi, vengono forniti gratuitamente dal maneggio prima della partenza. Fantastici!

Vi var to stykker erfarne rytter, mor og datter som skulle prøve noe nytt på ferien. Denne rideturen var virkelig et av høydepunktene, Gina var utrolig vennlig, og hestene var i god stand! Vi var på en to timers tur ved solnedgang og det var en fantastisk opplevelse. Tiltross for varme ble det mye galopp og trav! Anbefales på det sterkeste til alle som vil oppleve noe spennende og som liker dyr. Stort pluss at de både låner ut ridebukse, sko, hansker og hjelmer :-)
