You can easily spend a couple of hours in the new museum. The almost brand new Archaeological Museum of Kalymnos presents through its exhibits the cultural path of the island from prehistoric to post-Byzantine times.Most of all I believe, one will marvel at the bronze statue of the Lady of Kalymnos. It is as though you are looking at her and she will start talking or walking with you !Marble or Bronze Statues or statuettes, clay pots painted or for houshold purposes, every day artifacts etc will engage your attention and you will simply want to learn more and more !
