We took locals' advice and spent a day at the Chrisopigi place. The area boasts three of the nicest beaches on the island, coupled by a nice walkway connecting them and one of the most picturesque churches on a cliff by the shore. A defo if you're in Sifnos!

Chrysopigi is located at a lands end, in fact in the middle of the sea. Beautiful surroundings and a stunning view over the sea

Explore more than the monastery - climb the rocks around it that lead to the sea and take a dip in the sea!

A bright white church in the middle of two beaches, with a "swimming-pool like" sea. Loved it so much

We stopped for lunch on the beach (the first place on the beach- it had some of the best food), enjoyed some time in the water. Then stopped at this peaceful (when we were there) Monastery.

Definitely worth visiting. Magnificent location, also ideal for swimming, either next to the rocks, or at the neighboring Apokofto beach. The Apokofto Tavern (second one as you hit the beach) had the best food on the island.

Fantastic approach walking from Faros along the very well maintained sea walkway - easy walking . The monastery is stunning both from a distance and its atmosphere within.

Enjoyed the history, legends, and views from this monastery. The church has a ship candelabra that was created by a drowning man who was saved by his prayers. The church's caretaker a wonderful man who spent time in New York told us about the church history and the special qualities of Sifnos.

Pictures will never do this justice. My wife said we needed to bring our kids there and get them baptized as they would surely have a straight ticket to heaven
