Fanos is in a little cove so it's a little bit more protected than it's more famous neighbour, Pori. We like it much better because it's less windy and there are plenty of trees to sit under in the heat of the day.

Waiters so rude I have never encountered.....Expensive and bad food....such a pity it is such a beautiful place....Stay away...

Fanos beach has a great beach bar with deck chairs looking out over the beach, they are a fab place to plonk yourself for the day, enjoy a few beers and take in the sun. Staff are friendly and food is good. Walking distance from Petros Rooms where we stayed or you can get a bus or boat from the port, the boat is great!!

Smaller sandy beach that has one restaurant that was ok -- friendly service / cafeteria style . It gets very crowded so go early to get a spot .

Another sandy beach about 10 min walk from the port. Nice clear and calm water even when it's windy that makes it perfect for families. There is a taverna-café behind with good food and drinks.

Of the beaches on Koufanissi this was the beach we liked the most. It is sheltered from the wind and the sea is a stunning colour. The taverna behind the beach is clean and provides good quality food and drinks at a fair price. The beach tends to become busy from 3.00pm onwards but so do all the beaches on Koufanissi. It is a short walk from the main town ie less than 10 minutes. This is a beach for families.

Pori è sicuramente molto particolare ed è da vedere ma Fanos mi ha preso il cuore.Molto più comoda come posizione rispetto a Pori, raggiungibile a piedi dal centro, questa spiaggia ha un mare cristallino e dei colori spettacolari.La sabbia è bianchissima e soprattutto è sempre riparata dal vento (che è molto frequente e forte sull'isola).Assolutamente consigliata!!

L'acqua è cristallina come nella famosa Porì, ma non è certo così scenografica. Ha il vantaggio di avere una zona riparata dal meltemi (tenete però conto che cmq quando soffia forte non c'è riparo che tenga): verso la parte finale, quella opposta alla taverna, a ridosso del muro. Più avanti c'è anche una baietta per stare appartati (col mare calmo). Sulla spiaggia ci sono anche tante tamerici (ma occorre arrivare presto se volete trovare un posto all'ombra). La taverna è pessima e cara; può essere usata solo come bar.

Bella spiaggetta abbastanza riparata dal vento... a volte! Mare cristallino come ovunque, a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro, buona taverna dove mangiare anche sul posto: cosa volete di più! Portatevi l'ombrellone, non c'è ombra.

Incantevole spiaggia raggiungibile a piedi dal porto, e una lingua di sabbia bianca e sottile con acque cristalline, Poche piante offrono refrigerio e riparo dal sole. c'e una taverna con sedie sdraio in cui è piacevole indugiare dopo pranzo
