This was by far the best beach of the island! Wild beauty! Don't hesitate to have lunch there at the taverna, it's great! It's worth it!

The water was crystal clear. Be sure to swim to the caves on the left side of the beach. This beach and Aghia Anna were the best in Amorgos.

Some kms from Chora, one of the most beautiful, beach of Amorgos. A small walk from the parking place, be prepared to beach, no sand, pebbles. There is a small tavern and bar, nera to the parking place, it is waorthwhile to spend some time.

this is one of the most famous beaches in amorgos island and rightly so. Access is not very easy and it is not organised as far as beach amenities are concerned, but this is part of its beauty. Small and larger pebbles, crystal clear waters and some interesting rock formations with sea caves. If you feel adventurous do explore. Safe diving can be performed from some rocks, provided the appropriate caution and common sense is exercised. From 10 am up to 2:30 pm reasonable shade can be provided from the rock formations. Other than that that a small umbrella is recommended. Also a good place for snorkeling. Do bring plenty of water and some snacks, if you plan to stay long (highly recommended) since it is a long walk to the taverna above the beach.

Leaving Chora and driving south-east after Kamari village there is a road sign leading to Mouros beach. You leave your car at the parking and then you have to walk down the rocky path for about 50m. The beach is not very big and there are small grey coloured pebbles and a huge rock in the middle where you can enjoy shadow until 13:00. Otherwise you'll have to bring your umbrella.But what amazed me most, was the colour of water, so crystal blue that I couldn't believe my eyes.After 3-5 min swim on the right side of the beach, you can see the "work" sea and rocks have made for years: Three small caves and then one big with fantastic colours 'steal' your mind!Don't forget to bring a sea mask to admire what nature generously donates to us.On top of the beach, near the parking there is a nice tavern with food and refreshments.Definitely my favourite beach in Amorgos!

We tried out a number of beaches on Amorgos and this was without doubt my favorite one. Needless to say: the water is stunning. Be aware though that there might be some nudity. :)

μουρου και τα μουρακια ... αφεθειτε και περπατηστε κατα μηκος της παραλιας μεχρι να βρειτε ενα ησυχο μερος και απλα αφεθειτε στη μαγεια ....

La plus belle crique de l'île. Eau limpide.Taverne magnifique avec nourriture excellente.Un peu dur la remontée de la plage les jours de grande chaleur

Au sud de Chora, plage de sable noir accessible par un escalier étroit et caillouteux. Il faut définitivement s'y arréter pour aler explorer à la nage les grottes qui se situent sur la droite de la plage. Le matin la plage est relativement peu fréquentée. La couleur de l'eau est d'un turquoise digne des Caraïbes et on peut y voir des poissons assez nombreux
