Heraion isn't reachable by public transportation (closest bus goes to Loutraki from Athens), so your best bet is either renting a car, or a private tour. It's probably one of the most scenic off-the beaten-path sights in Greece. There are really two places to see - the temple remains in the small cove, and the Malagavi Lighthouse, one of the oldest in the country still operating. The views over the wild coast, the surrounding mountains, and the gulf of Corinth are spectacular. The tiny beach is swimable at the moment, as there are no guards or restrictions of any kind. Vouliagmeni Lake, on the way to the temple, with its bowl-shape and rugged cliffs, is also striking, almost Caribbean in appearance. Be sure to stop and eat at a Taverna at the entrance to the lake (our driver took us there, and the fried fish / house wine were quite good). The whole Perachora area seems to be inhabited by hungry felines, a bonus for cat-lovers.

Just a few kilometres away from Perachora, stands this place with the ruins of an ancient Hera Temple. From the top you'll see the wonderful, small beach with crystal clear waters.. Walk down the path and you'll also meet a small church. Just next to the ruins of the ancient temple, don't forget to swim in the deep blue sea.. One of the best! Bring water with you cause there's nothing else there.. Loved it!

Después de visitar Ancient Corinto, nos dirigimos hacia el templo de Hera, el entorno es mágico, ya que las ruinas están casi al borde del mar turquesa. Se respira historia, si están cerca no dejen de visitarlo.

il sito di per sè è molto suggestivo, dato che la piccola spiaggia si trova praticamente nel sito archeologico dell'antico tempio di Hera, in cima al capo e a due passi dal faro. La cosa assolutamente strepitosa è nuotare e fare snorkeling: scogliere a picco si inabissano verso est e alcuni terrazzi poco profondi rendono più vario il "panorama" verso ovest. Pesci di ogni tipo dovunque, ricci e stelle marine... come nuotare in un acquario.

hermoso lugar para contemplar la puesta de sol en su mirador, hay una playa pequeña muy agradable de agua cálida y cristalina.
