We visited Palivos Estate during the last Nemea Days of Wine festivity, 5-7 of September. It was among the few wine estates of Nemea which organized certain events: from music and horse riding, to food and wine tasting. We have chosen the food tasting with old wines; the food was prepared by the chef Mrs. Nikolaou and it was wisely accompanied by wines of the winery of all kind: rose, white, red and sweet. Everything was well prepared and presented into the vineyard, so the mood developed among the participants was really high; even a sudden rain didn't manage to change it. The wine tasting into the winery was well organized, four ladies knowing well how to help you tasting all the wines, were supporting adequately this part of the festive. One photo exhibition, a vetical tasting of one red wine, free food for the visitors, helpful ladies in the shoping center. Especially a young singer of the days created a problem due to the "crowds" come on Saturday night. It seems that it was the most successful winery for 2014 in terms of entairtenment and wine tasting offered, at least to many Nemea Wine Days visitors' as well as to many locals opinion. From our side, we liked the wines, we liked the welcoming, the support, the friendliness and the facilities of the winery. We will visit it again. Highly recommended.
