Nice walk to the North end of the village near the sailing school. What a lovely man, took us into the workshop and stood for ages talking to us about the history of his family and the business. Bought a couple of pots we now use for our ouzo at home and a bowl for olives.takes us back to Greece every time we use them and are now our favourite crockery.

We have been going to Costis pottery for eight years and can't visit and not buy something from such a talented man.Not only is Costis a genuine and polite man he's got such a talent for making beautiful pottery.It's such great value you will not leave empty handed every visit.Also the view from the back yard is amazing.....Enjoy your visit

Just a short walk from the Aberdeen Studios, the potter himself was on hand to show us how he works, very friendly and informative, his work is unique and some of the pieces are fantastic, the prices were very reasonable and we bought several small items which he wrapped well in bubble wrap to protect them and advised that hand luggage was the best way to transport them.Also the view from the small Terrace was amazing.

Run by Costis. Gorgeous handmade pottery - bowls, tealight holders, vases, wine jugs & cups, mugs etc etc. Spent an hour or so having a chat with him whilst deciding what to buy - so friendly! Bubble wrapped everything for safe travel. Nice location on the beach as well.

Costis has run this pottery for many years, as this pottery was set up by his grandfather, and has continued in the family ever since. A short(ish) walk past the ferry port takes you along the coastal path to the pottery. Costis works alone and is responsible for all aspects of the production, ie forming the pots and curios, drying, firing, glazing and selling. As everything is hand made, no two pieces are exactly the same. This adds to the charm. Items produced range from large pots through dishes and containers to models and animals. If you are there on a day he is producing, he is more than willing to talk about what he is doing. Free wrapping (bubblewrap) to enable safe passage home. The friendliest man you could hope to meet. The prices are not as cheap as mass produced, but you get a unique item. GO SEE.

Ακολουθείς τόν δρόμο γιά πρίνο καί μόλις φτάσεις στήν παραλία ταρσανά μετά από 1 χιλιόμετρο απο τα φέρυ μπότ ακολουθείς τόν κατηφορικό στενό δρόμο πού βγάζει μετά από 150 μέτρα κατευθείαν στό αγγειοπλαστειο του κωστή στήν άκρη τίς παραλίας ...εφοδιασμενος με την φωτογραφικη μηχανη μπηκα και θαυμασα τα εργα αγγειοπλαστικης στα ραφια στα 5 δωματια του χωρου επισης στο μπαλκονι με την κληματαρια ειναι ονειρο..συζήτησα μέ τόν κωστή καί διέκρινα μιά ας το πούμε πίκρα δικαιολογημένη 100% γιά τά φτηνής ποιότητας κινέζικα σουβενίρ πού έχουνε κατακλύσει τίς αγορές μας καί περισότερο τίς θασου ...αγόρασα βεβαίως αυθεντικό κανατάκι γιά λουλούδια ..μέ υπογραφή κωστή...στό κάτω μέρος...απλός καί αυθόρμητος ό καλιτέχνης μέ ρώτησε άν ασχολούμε μέ καλιτεχνία καί μού είπε ότι λίγοι είναι λάτρεις τού αυθεντικού πλέων ...συμφώνησα ότι τό αυθεντικό είναι τό γνήσιο καί τόν αποχαιρέτησα αφού έλαβα πολλές φωτογραφίες μέσα καί έξω από τό αγγειοπλαστειο θαυμάζοντας καί τήν τοποθεσία πού μόλις βγείς στό μπαλκόνι βρίσκεσε 2 μέτρα από τήν θάλασσα... καί τά έργα τέχνης αγγεία όλων τών ειδών φαναράκια , κανάτες ,βάζα κτλ.εδωσα υποσχεση για του χρονου και χαιρέτησα έναν αξιόλογο καλιτέχνη από τούς τελαιυτέους τού είδους στήν θάσο..μας...
