The access is a little bit difficult, you better have shoes and not flip-flops. But it worths!!! Amazing waters and colors. There is no cafe or kantine there, so you have to take with you water & food maybe. The day we went there, a local couple appeared from the sea with cold drinks (water, soft drinks, beers, frape) toasts and watermellons!! I'm not sure that it happens every day, so I propose to ask in the next village Maganitis. There you can ask also for a boat transfer to the beach.

The access is quite difficult but really worths it because it is the most beautifull beach of the island with unbelievable "tirquaz" waters . Really crowded on August , so you have to go very early in the morning if you want to be alone.

This is possibly the most famous beach of the island. Close to Magganitis (use the road from Evdilos or Agios Kyrikos to reach it quickly), it requires a 10-15 minute descent through rocky landscape. Avoid flip-flops and use sneakers instead. The way up is actually easier. The beach is indeed wonderful, with crystal blue waters, very similar to those in Ionian islands. We visited it yesterday (almost off season) at 5pm and it was brilliant. Just about the right amount of people (25-30). Since it is tiny and very famous, it can really get crowded. So, as other reviewers suggest, avoid the busy season, especially the first half of August and try to go there late-ish. You increase the chance of really enjoying the place!

Although access is a bit difficult, it worths it as suddenly you get to a tropical rocky beach! Silence, Colors and sun on a perfect combination

The trek down to the beach isn't horrible, you can make it wearing sandles/flipflops, but shoes are recommended. There is a small parking lot, but more than likely you'll be parking on the side of the road. It's worth seeing, but nothing special. Ikaria has much nicer, more interesting, less crowded beaches.

Beautiful beach in a secluded location. I highly recommend visiting! The walk down to the beach can be challenging. Wear more than flip flops if you visit.

If you dont like dusty sand-beaches, but love white small soft pebbles and crystal clear waters, quietness - this is the best beach in Greece! Simple as that.
