We found it difficult to find, but it was worth it. It is cute. But the very best part was eating at the Glockl Brau cafe next door with its delicious local food.

Be sure to know the times to view this fun attraction! There are 2 good restaurants right here one being below the Glockenspiel. Both have stunning architecture & features & seating is outside in the plats.Right on 3pm the 2 windows open to expose carved wooden figures,a male from one window & female from the other, in traditional costume who dance around a number of times. This gives plenty of time to focus on each figure & their movements.

Glockenspielplatz - площадь, расположенная внутри квартала, выходящего на самые центральные улицы Граца. Но сразу найти эту площадь, без внимательного разглядывания карты или без помощи местных жителей (я ходил на неё не один раз) мне, почему-то не удавалось. Главный аттракцион на этой площади - часы с двумя танцующими четыре раза в сутки фигурами: мужчины и женщины. Откровенно говоря, какого-то особого впечатления эти фигуры на меня не произвели - в некоторых городах Европы есть поинтереснее. Но сама площадь стоит того, чтобы её посетить. Посмотреть-полюбоваться архитектурой разных эпох.

Il Glockenspiel, è il carillon della città di Graz, che offre lo spettacole delle danze di due marionette al suono delle campane a orari predefiniti. Il carillon è molto piccolo, ma lo spettacolo offerto è comunque carino (certo non è assolutamente paragonabile a quello dello Glockenspiel di Monaco di Baviera...). Assicuratevi di arrivare agli orari giusti, alle 11.00, alle 15.00 e alle 18.00, altrimenti la piccola piazza offre molto poco da vedere oltre alla bella (e muta) facciata del palazzo che ospita il Glockenspiel.Durante l'Avvento la piazzetta si riempe di bancarelle che offrono caldarroste, punch e Gluchwein per riscaldare i cuori.

Il Carillon o Glockenspiel si trova nella piazzetta detta Glockenspielplatz al n. 4, sulla facciata di un palazzo. Si puo'raggiungere sia dalla Burgstrasse, a lato del Duomo, che dall'Hauptplatz, imboccando una stradina laterale. Sulla facciata del palasso ci sono due finestre, che si aprono alle ore11, alle 15 e alle 18, preannunciate dal tocco dell'ora. Poi escono due statuine, un uomo e una donna, vestiti con i Trachten, cioè i costumi della Stiria. Danzano al suono di due melodie. Da ultima quello dello Stille Nacht. Poi rientrano, le finestrelle si chiudono e si sente il canto del gallo per tre volte. Tutti guardano incantati e alla fine aspettano ancora, con la testa rivolta in su, sperando che il tutto, per magia possa ripetersi.Il Carillon ha un centinaio di punte e la melodia si puo' cambiare. Le campanelle sono 26 e, dutante la seconda Guerra, vennero fuse per motivi bellici.

Das tanzende Steirerpärchen im Glockenspiel lockt immer wieder Touristen aus aller Welt. Um 11, 15 und 18 Uhr drehen sich die Figuren auf dem Dach des Hauses. Also zur rechten Zeit einfach vorbei schauen und mit einem Kaffee oder anderem Getränk im Bermudadreieck von Graz verbinden. Zur Zeit sind schon die Weihnachtsmärkte eröffnet.

Das Glockenspiel in der Grazer Altstadt ist eine viel bestaunte Attraktion, welche dreimal täglich (11,15,18 Uhr) ihr Schauspiel zeigt. Es öffnen sich zwei Fenster, je eine Figur tritt vor und beide tanzen zu drei Melodien. Nach ca 7 Minuten ist die Performance vorbei und die Fenster schließen sich wieder. Zeit für den Besuch eines der umliegenden Lokale.
