We have been coming to Protaras for 12 years and go to Rockafellas almost every evening. Great acts including the amazing blues brothers, Frankie Valli and The Soul Man amongst many. Costa and Tasos together with Sammy greet us like long lost friends. You can also get a lovely meal up to around 3 o'clock every afternoon and every evening a couple of rounds of drinks are always sent to the table complements of the Bar. They don't even seem to mind the solo drinkers who call in when the football is on a Saturday afternoon and sit over at a table better suited to 6-8 people and sip over their 1/2 pint for the whole match and then get up and leave. Would go nowhere else as staff and service will not be beaten and the staff do not stand over or around your table while you are half finished your drinks waiting to get another order. Plenty of pool tables and games for the children.Truly a great bar and very family/child friendly cant wait go get there again for 3 weeks this year.

This is by far the best bar in protaras! we did find ourselves going there most evenings the drinks are very reasonably priced and with waitress service, the tribute acts are great fun Rod Stewart and Ska night were my favourites

Didn't frequent this place too often but the place always seemed to be rammed with holiday makers. Considering it was end of season this is pretty good going as a lot of places were pretty empty. Massive pub/bar with a good selection of drinks available but there are plenty of other places to drink if you want a cheaper night out.Most nights have tribute acts playing which is what pulls the punters in.Would return again and perhaps spend a little more time.

We'd done a bit of homework before we went on holiday and found out that this was one of the bars to go to, we weren't disappointed.There are tribute acts on nightly and many of them are excellent, OK some aren't so great but then you can't have it all.There were plenty of staff on to serve, the beer was cheap and good - even the Guinness which sometimes doesn't travel well was excellent. There are a number of pool tables and quite a few big screens to watch the football on if you're not into the entertainment.It seems to be open til around 2am depending on the acts on that night, but the acts can be somewhat late - on one night up to 45 minutes later than the advertised time whilst we were there, but it's not a bad environment to be stuck in.One tip - the main toilets are down a wooden spiral staircase which you take you're life in your own hands going up and down after a beer or two; to avoid this head to the far corner of the outside area to what looks like a stone built hut next to the pool table where there are some further toilets which require less mountaineering equipment.If you're in Protaras then stop by one night - it'll be worth it.

Good lively bar with lots of entertainment - would go again - bar lady needs a smile ! But always polite ! Happy hour with a sad face ??

We were in Protaras last year and again this year, best live entertainment in Cyprus. All of the singers were first class and Frankie Dean was outstanding, great voice and excellent all round entertainer who always has time for photos and chats. Think Ms C Croisdell has got it all wrong, if she looked there is another toilet on the flat at the other side of the bar, a pity only this one person could give a negative account to what has been 4/5 reviews of the pub/singers - no account for taste and she was probably drunk haha

We have visited this bar for 7 years. The staff are amazing and we feel part of the 'family' now. Costa employs great staff from the waitress staff , the bar men tsvetalin alex. Sammie. Dennis Tasos to the glass washer Gannie. His influence is felt all through the night as he makes sure his customers are well looked after. The entertainment is a hoot. And these young people give it their all. There is a real homely feel to the place and you are acknowledged on arrival. Costa's gantry of drinks is a wonder and the cocktails pack a punch . They do a mean omelette during the day and the prices are good. If you want a good night out with a good laugh a wee dance. And some entertainment this is the place to go. Ask Costa to do his party piece

We stayed in Paphos, however a friend had raved about Rockafellas and Frankie Valley so we hired a car and braced ourselves for the 3 hour drive to Protaras.Average entertainment that could be found in any bar that provides tribute act entertainment. Definitely not worth the drive. The owner/manager cut short the final act of the evening before he apparently got to the best bit of the show.The toilets are down a steep spiral staircase and are difficult to negotiate, ladies do not wear heels.Just an average night out, perhaps worth a visit if staying local.

Central to Protaras, always good for a drink before eating out, and again later on when they have acts on most nights! Staff good and you don't get ripped off! Always a great atmosphere!Make good Brandy Sours!!

Visited rockafellas to watch the ABBA and SKA entertainment that was on offer. The ABBA was ok but the SKA tribute , Bad Manners ect, was brilliant. The energy that the performer puts into his act is awesome, the crowd really gets into the performance and his singing is great too. Drinks were reasonable priced and service was good. I would recommend watching this act.
