A new tower has been built in the place of old one that has been bombed in 1999. The view from it is majestic and it even has a cafe. Drinking coffee and watching the world from above is priceless. The nature around it is stunning and some buses will take you there. It is great to simply walk down

With 511 meters height is one of the mountains on the cattle do not have to count on a real mountain conditions, but still refreshing. The two dominant cities Avala Tower and Monument to the Unknown Hero of wooded trails and beautiful views are something that will really bring visitors to Belgrade inetersantan trip not far from the city center. Infrastructure next could be better, tourist additional facilities also. Still, interesting picnic and walking tor with astonished view from 200m height Tower 10km away fm city center.

As a visitor it was hard to get to. Taxi was expensive and upon leaving it was impossible to find a cab. Thank goodness for a friendly local who drove us to a taxi stand away from the mountain. Yes,, you can see the surrounding area but,, it really wasn't worth the trip. If you had a car and wanted to picnic the location was very nice. For those with problems walking, avoid at all costs. Ticket booth is at one side at ground level then access is all the way on the other side. We were told that there was an elevator, but, no one told us about the long uphill ramp you had to walk to get to the elevator.

Reachable by bus, but I recommend going by car. Nice scenic view, the tower is opened for visits, fresh air and restaurant on the top of the mountain are great.

If you visit Belgrade in the summer months you can get a bit hot and bothered. A trip to Avala mountain is a perfect way to cool down (in the shade) and breathe some much-needed fresh air. It can get very busy on weekends, so try to go on a weekday when you'll be able to find your own space much easier.

ベオグラードの中心部から車で気軽に行けて、大自然を楽しめる場所です。山と言っても低い丘のようです。駐車場のそばには炭火焼レストラン、山頂には大きな祭壇のような「無名英雄のモニュメント」がありました。モニュメントの階段の上から眺める風景は、けわしい山もなく、地平線まで続くなだらかさ。農地やところどころに建つ家が、物語の中の世界のようです。モニュメント周囲の林では、お茶にするハーブを摘む人たちの姿もありました。ここから目の前の丘にあるアヴォラタワー（昔の電波塔）は、高さ204メートル以上あるそうで、どこか未来的なデザインがユニーク。エレベーターで上がった最上階からは、素晴らしい景観が望めます。最上階の下の階にあるカフェで、夕日を眺めながらいただいたケーキも、なかなかおいしかったです。

Гора Авала, расположенная менее, чевм в 20 км от Белграда - своего рода целительная аура, заполненная свежим воздухом. Гора (чуть выле 500 м) большей частью покрыта густыми лиственными и смешанными лесами, прорезанными редкими тропинками для прогулок. В ее верхней части - своего рода площадь, на которой в 1938 г. был возведен Памятник неизвестному герою (в честь воинов, павших в Первой мировой войне, но создавших единое славянское королевство - Югославию), созданный известным хорватским (тогда югославским архитектором и скульптором Иваном Мештровичем - личным другом короля Александра Карагеоргиевича (король к тому времени уже был злодейски убит в 1934 г. в Марселе). Эта площадь - место небольших парадов в честь иностранных делегаций, которые возлагают при этом венки в честь Неизвестного героя. Если подняться на стоящую рядом телевизионную башню, то открывается изумительный вид на окрестности - долины и холмы Шумадии и сам Белград. Полезен для прогулок в холодное время года, когда в Белграде топят углем и необходимо подышать свежим, почти горным воздухом. Не так далеко от верхней площади (метров 200) на склоне горы следует посетить памятник советским военачальникам - освободителям Белграда в октябре 1944 г. Маршал Бирюзов вместе с несколькими генералами и офицерами (точнее можно прочесть на памятной стеле) разбились в октябре 1964 г. в самолете, который должен был доставить их для участия в праздновение 20 летия освобождения Белграда, а заодно и для рассказа тогдашнему руководителю Югославии о причинах снятия советского лидера Н.С.Хрущева, с которым у Броз Тито сложились весьма теплые отношения. Добираться до Авалы лучше все же на автомобиле. В случае дождя может быть неуютно и придется скрываться в окрестных ресторанах, впрочем, с учетом разнообразия и пока еще натуральной (до вступления Сербии в ЕС) национальной кухни желеть об этом не придется.

Questa montagna si trova a circa 20 min.dalla citta' di Belgrado,e' un luogo sia di divertimento che di riflessione per quello che avvenne durante la seconda guerra mondiale.Ci sono dei bellissimi boschi per le passeggiate.Giunti in vetta, un piacevole ristorante e bar molto piacevole,da visitare il Mausoleo.
