Very pretty and worth a stop. Every time we went there was a rainbow! Not much to do there in the winter, but in the summer you can climb stairs to the top of the falls.

The falls here are wide but nothing spectacular. The area was crowded when we visited and we found other falls to be more interesting.

Of all the waterfalls in Iceland, this is an average ones it's lovely and all, and relatively close to Reykjavik than others, but there are bigger more exciting waterfalls

Did a quick stop here during a day trip in South West Iceland. Much less touristy than many other places, probably due to the lack of facilities. We didn't venture far due to the cold but I would be interested to go back in the summer so I can get closer to the waterfall by walking up the path.

Stopped here on the long trip to Jokulsarlon. Impressive view from the top of the 400+ steps that lead to the top (good workout!). Good photos to be had.

This was my favourite waterfall in Iceland that I visited. It's impressive from a distance and you can get really close to the water in this little alcove that would be quite romantic if there weren't so many children about (I think there was a couple of bus loads of schools that day). There's not much to say about it, it's a waterfall, it's impressive, it's slippery in winter.

We visited during winter. The scenery was all icy. You could feel the rumble of the water underneath the ice you can go up to a viewing platform. A small path will lead you away from the waterfall where there, s another small waterfall hidden.
