2、斯卡夫塔费德国家公园Skaftafell National Park：www.vatnajokulsthjodgardur.is/english、www.visitvatnajokull.is 1号公路旁，沿998号公路进去几百米。是瓦特纳冰川国家公园Vatnajökull National Park的一部分。冰岛第二大国家公园，有着一系列令人惊叹的山峰和冰川，是冰岛最受欢迎的原野旅游胜地。除了有各种鸟类、著名的黑瀑布 Svartifoss、冰岛最高峰2110米的Öræfajökull之外，户外活动也是这里的重头戏。有冰川徒步、冰洞探险、攀冰、冰原雪地摩托等众多活动。附：8月26日Skaftafell地图1、2可以清楚地看到各条徒步线，不同的颜色代表不同的难易度和长度游客中心Skaftafell Visitor Centre：有火山展览室、纪念品店、小餐厅，还能咨询周边住宿信息，也是各个徒步路线和各种户外活动的起点。旁边有免费厕所、洗衣房、洗澡间（4分钟需6个50的硬币）。外面停车场旁就是几个旅行社的户外活动基地小屋。附近还有几个大的露营区域（具体信息见官网）www.vatnajokulsthjodgardur.is/english/operations/visitor-centre/ 户外活动：可在各旅行社网站预定，也可直接到游客中心外的基地小屋参加。由于队友身体不适，原计划的冰川徒步没有参加，下面列举了一些旅行社官网资料供参考（活动很多，具体看网站介绍）。第一家从图片上看很不错。 ①www.oraefaferdir.is：集合地点在Foss Hótel Skaftafell停车场。冰川徒步：2公里2小时，ISK7500。攀冰：3-4小时，ISK12500。冰洞探险：12月—3月，3-4小时，ISK10000。 ②www.mountainguides.is：冰川徒步：2.5小时ISK6500。提前15分钟在游客中心集合。出发时间：10：00、11：00、14：00、15：00。攀冰：4小时ISK13900，出发时间：10：30、14：30。 ③Glacier Guides：www.glacierguides.is 冰川徒步：2.5-3小时ISK6990。提前15分钟在游客中心集合。出发时间：9：30、11:30,13:00,15:15。 ④www.extremeiceland.is/：冰川徒步：2.5小时ISK6500。提前15分钟在游客中心集合。出发时间：8月10、11、14、15。需预定。 ⑤www.adventures.is⑥Vatnajökull Travel：www.vatnajokull.is 冰川徒步（官网照片）攀冰（官网照片）冰洞探险（官网照片）园内徒步：公园内徒步路线很多，难易不一，时间从1、2个小时到1整天不等，游客中心提供徒步路线地图。我们选择了最容易的路线之一，就是地图上的蓝色S1路线，从小飞机上拍的公园照片上也能看到，从服务中心走到最近的Skaftafellsjökull冰川脚下，来回4公里，耗时1.5小时。全程人工道路，很好走，在冰川脚下可以看到一小片冰湖Jökulsárlón和黑沙滩。那里风相当大，注意保暖。冰川脚下

早饭吃了 2片面包，好在国家公园门口有cafe，买了点吃的。我的鞋子太软不够要求，于是租了登山短靴，2.5小时的是6300克朗一人，试好冰鞋穿好手套，跟向导的车子去一条极度颠簸的小路，来到冰川脚下。开始下着雨，很冷，走在冰上看着被表面黑色的泥土掩盖着的透着幽光的千年寒冰blue ice，等待向导用小铁锹凿出一条晶莹剔透的阶梯出来。　　雨停，远处的青山在薄雾中显露，身处厚厚的冰川中忽感一阵苍凉，寒意袭来，走到起点，告别这神奇的蓝冰，温暖地喝碗热汤，把面包掰碎放到汤里，还真是像羊肉泡馍啊~　　开车离开，今天要赶很远很远的路，从南边绕东边的环线直接开到极北边，GPS测算要9个小时，于是路过前一天晚上的冰湖，也不过是停驻拍个照。白天阳光灿烂，人很多，透着另一种美。这一路真可谓惊险刺激，错过了路上想找加油站，可测算说还有60多公里，剩余的一点点油如果是平地肯定是够的，但行驶在一片洪荒的盘山土路中，真是没办法计算。博士哥问大家，要不要赌一把，于是开车向前进发，眼瞅着油箱亮起了警告，眼前还是没有人烟。惊险地爬过一座座荒山，博士哥的冷汗流了一身，也终于在最后找到了加油站，一直紧绷的心弦也放松了~

We visited Skaftafell National Park on the first full day of our holiday in Iceland The scenery was breathtaking. We visited numerous glacial tongues which looked beautiful in the winter sunshine; such a wonderful shade of blue. It was very cold but fine if you layer up well. There is an informative visitor centre.

One of the best experiences we have ever had. The glaciers are amazing and the whole area is stunning - we got a sunny day with clear countryside the first day then all under snow the second. You really should try to get here if you are going on a trip to Iceland's south coast. Not sure if it is in the national park, but the Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon is the most amazing place I have ever been!

I only walk the 45mn trail to get to Svartifoss, but it was refreshing. It was January, the weather was nice. The view is charming.

I've been there twice and first in July 2013 and then last as part of the day excursions on a 1-week northern light trip this month. I woudl say going in summer is more preferable for better photos and wonderful and less unpreditable weather. Yet this is a highly recomended place to vist while in Iceland. By visiting I must stress that means more than staying at the visitor or tourist centre next to the carpark off the glacier. I made that mistake by staying around the carpark as I ddi nto have the time on a round the Icelandic main island packaged tour. This second visit was focused on the south and the west and we could afford the time to get into the first bit of the national park arae where I started to have a real close-up view of the glacier and the dark hills and rocks as a nice contrasting background colour for good pictures. As the weather was rainy and misty that day and the time for travellign between scenic and tourist spots was still substntial in this nation, we stayed for less than an hour and did not manage to get to the waterfall among vertcial basaltic columns which is among the best secne for my dreamed photo shots. Though I just stayed beyond the little gate for a while, what I saw did surpassed most visitors see on major Swiss snowy mountains overlooking the longest Swiss glacier, though that may still means relatively little for those who have been to Antartica, Pantagonia, Alaska or Svalbard I would defintely go there again if I happen to be in South Iceland again!

Skaftafellsjokull glacier near Skaftafell National Park—One of the highlights in Iceland. This was viewed from outside the park. We had a rental car and stayed a couple nights in Vik and toured the area east of Vik. On the way back from the Jokulsarlon iceberg lagoon we stopped at this glacier. There are two glaciers near Skaftafell National Park that you can see from the Ring Road. They are located 2 km off the highway. It was a very bumpy gravel road that takes about 10 minutes to get there. There is a small parking lot (no services). There is a short trail on the lava rocks beside the glacier you can climb up on and get a good look at the glacier. It was so incredible the blue color and the rugged nature of this glacier is hard to describe. I was told the glaciers are only blue in the wintertime. I don’t think there are any organized hikes on this glacier. It is definitely worth the stop and getting up close to the glacier. Incredible--have never seen anything like it. We did not have time to actually go inside Skaftafell National Park as it was getting late. Ring Road was very icy and the drive to the Jokulsarlon Lagoon took longer than we planned.

Simply stunning area to be in even in poor weather it looks great. Take enough time to do some walking don't just shoot past on a tour of the island.

Placed just below Vatnajökull glacier it is a charming place to walk around. Visiting the several waterfalls in the area.

We went there to hike one of the fjords and it was an experience we will never forget, down to the trip to the fjord itself in big, yellow American school buses. We spent several hours with a very knowledgeable guide up on the fjord in crampons. In September, the weather and temperature was comfortable. There's a well laid out information centre as well and a cafe. Guided tours can be booked at the centre on the day, no problem. A LONG drive from Reykjavik, but worth a stop on any Icelandic road trip.
