The impressive cellars with large barrels of wine deep underground and collection of old wines. The staff is extremely friendly and the possibility of buying a good wine that is not too expensive.

We came following advise from a friend. Wine was good, cheese and Kulen for starters average, nothing one couldn't buy in any grocery store allover the country. We have ordered fish stew and steak as main, both practically uneatable (and we were hungry). Cooked food to be avoided, probably something wrong with kitchen.

There is very good chance to test very old vines and compare with younger ones. Also there is very good choice of local meet delicatessen. Close to Old vine cellars is public parking that is free, but to really enjoy choice of vines better take taxi

when I was there, the wine was second.. The first thing on my mind was how beautiful the atmosphere is and how quiet, peaceful, romantic and how awesome that place is... lovely wine cellars, lovely culture, lovely location and the most important lovely people.. by the way, the wine was awesome I tasted it and it was awesome although I don't drink wine <3

This old celler really suprised me, cause i am not a white vine drinker, but theits white vine called Traminac is a mind bloving vine! Sweet taste, great aroma and fragrance makes this vine my new favorite!! I am not suprised that even queen Elisabeth of England serves this vine od her court.. Be sure to bring some money for suvenires. Souvenir shop is located in the cellers.

Located in the old cellars of the fortress. You get a tour in perfect english from a very friendly guide. This vineyard even delivered the famous traminac to the crowning of Queen Elizabeth. You also visit another cellar with huge barrels which are no longer in use because, in the Balkan-war, the Serves took the wine and left the beautiful barrels to perish. After the tour, do not forget to enjoy a tasting of these fantastic but unknown wines which can compete with french wines.
