This looks more like a large house with a large garden full if tanks, planes and helicopters.....and to be fair that's really all it is, But just as it's not as slick and polished as a UK museum, the benefit is you can get right up next to, and touch, the exhibits which you rarely would get the chance to do anywhere else.Inside the museum building are a few rooms with guns, ammo, mines, uniforms, and photos and stories about famous officers from the Soviet / Russian Ukraine armies of various recent time (1930s onwards).All in Ukrainian so you will need to be able to read the language.Outside is a pretty spectacular array of military hardware from bombs and rockets, ejection seat training rigs, tanks, APCs, missile launchers jeeps / trucks etc etc. You can pay a bit extra and get a guide to come round with you, but again it's local language only. It's not a massive display by any means, but interesting enough, not expensive and a great opportunity to get some close up photos of the kit. If you like militaria, this is a great place to visit if you have some spare time in Lutsk.

It opened in 1929. There are more than 125,000 exhibits, representing nature, history, ethnography, art, collection of natural-scientific materials, geological minerals, plants and animals. History of Volyn presented unique monuments of archaeological collection, numismatic collections, ethnographic materials, by writing documents, examples of sacred art (iconography, metal plastic, blacksmithing, sewing). The exposition is located on an area of over 2 thousand m2.

Этот музей сравнительно небольшой, учитывая, что здесь экспонируются... старые самолеты, пушки, танки, автоматы и другие средства наступления и обороны. Он называется Волынский региональный музей украинского войска и военной техники и занимает в самом центре Луцка площадь в один гектар. Такой музей — единственный в своем роде в западном регионе Украины. Вся техника размещена под открытым небом. Ныне на выставке представлено 50 образцов военной техники и вооружение, а именно: авиационные комплексы, бронетанковая техника, зенитно-ракетные комплексы, артиллерийское вооружение, техника служб обеспечения тыла и техника войск связи... И все же за прошлый год музей на улице с историческим названием — Таборище — посетило 18 тысяч человек. Билет в музей недорогой - 10 гривен
