The Bodega Graffigna in San Juan, Argentina is a nice place to stop for awhile. They have an interesting tour of some of the old parts of the winery and the owner's offices from the 1800s and 1900s. Our tour was in Spanish and there was limited wine tasting afterward. Also it was free.

We were here with a wine tour group, and our visit had been prearranged, but I believe we had the standard tour (beginning with a video presentation). Our tour was conducted in english, and our guide did a good job of pointing out the exhibits and providing some background on them. The history here is quite fascinating, and even those who are not wine aficionados should find it interesting.We had a special tasting with the winemaker following the tour, so I can't comment on what the "standard" tasting would offer, but it's worth noting that we found the overall quality of the wine here to be very high.

My friends and I went to the wine museum a little more than a year ago, and it was time well spent! It had just been an earthquake so the staff was running around to check if everything was in place and okay, but we quickly got a guide and started our tour. We started in an auditorium where we watched a short film about the history of Graffigna, and then we had a guided tour through several rooms including the wine cellar. Both the information and the guide were very good. We finished with a short, but good, wine tasting in another room, and later we got the opportunity to buy the same wines at a very good price. It is totally free, and they offer guided tours both in Spanish and English. We had the tour in Spanish, so I can not tell you anything about their English.If you have the chance and want to learn something about the history of the wine of San Juan I recommend you go! Had a great experience!

This is a great tour. You start by watching a movie about the history of the family, then they explain how they make the wine, all ending up with a degustation. And its free. Better than the "classic" tour we did in Mendoza. But I'm not sure about their english speaking abilities, as we speak Spanish.

Muy agradable recorrido. Corto, pero significativo. Se pueden ver utensillos, barriles y demás cosas que se utilizaban antaño. Proyectan un video muy entretenido, de la historia de la familia y la bodega. Son impresionantes los tamaños de los toneles de madera. Muy buena idea de utilizarlos para el winebar.

Es un lugar muy bien conservado, donde ofrecen un recorrido por un tipico lugar de la provincia. Cuentan la historia familiar que le da origen a la bodega de una forma muy clara y entretenida.Es un lindo paseo y recorrido historico y una buena forma de aprender el proceso de vino.El unico punto negativo, ahi no se pueden comprar los vinos.

Muy buena recorrida por la historia del vino y la familia, quien nos dió el recorrido fue una persona muy amena y preparada para recibirnos. Los horarios de visita son bastante seguidos. Finalizamos el recorrido con una degustacion. Lo negativo, al momento de querer comprar unos vinos no estaba quien tenia la concesión del lugar por lo que no pudimos comprar el producto.

Interesante recorrida por un tipico emprendimiento familiar argentino fundada por inmigrantes italianos que llego a ser una gran empresa. Lo único negativo, fue muy difícil de encontrar.

Tan solo a un par de kilómetros del centro de San Juan se ubica la bodega Santiago Graffigna, y junto a él, este Museo inagurado en noviempre de 2003 con el fin de mantener en la memoria la tradición de sus fundadores. En primavera, mientras la vid en San Juan comienza a despertar es la época en la que fui yo y tuve una atención exclusiva. Historia y degustación de primera mano y de excelente calidad. Antes de ir con chicos, lo evaluaría primero. Nota: Fui antes de Dic-2013, pero la casilla "¿Cúando visitaste?" no está habilitada para la real fecha de cuando fui.
