When doing the Grand Circuito you must stop at Lake Traful and the mirador. Amazing view. When were ready for a stop at this point and had lunch at Little John's public house, just down the road from towards Villa Traful from the Mirador. We kept saying we could not be more happy. Gourmet cheeseburgers and trout in paradise. Good food, good bottled local craft beer, great view from the balcony. Really good food--very well done. The local trout prepared with lemon was wonderful, and the Kevin Bacon burger is highly recommended (would he get a royalty if he came here?) Your US dollars go very far here. It was just the stop we wanted on our Circuito Grande Excursion.

This is just 5 km away from Villa Traful and the view is amazing. Be prepared to take pictures, don't miss it!!

We did the rita de los 7 lagos en on the way back we detoured towards Villa Traful. This is so worth it a detour. For me the scenery is even better than the lagos. Very interesting rockformations along the way. We didn't stay overnight, but it seems like a great place to camp along the lake. Loads of fishermen.

There are few places I've been that are so stunningly beautiful, and this is Villa Traful, which is a small picturesque secluded alpine-like hamlet amongst spruce and pine at 800 meters above sea level where is not unusual to see a blanket of snow in winter time in the Province of Rio Negro, 70 kilometers north of Bariloche. I spent a two days of my honeymoon here. There are a few things to do: flyfishing, hicking, reflecting, and if you're in your honeymoon, enjoying life. This place has been taken out of a story book. The lake, Truful, the mountains, the trees and the houses, make you want to stay in this litlle paradise for ever! Don't forget to visit it.

Este mirador tiene una vista espectacular, para admirar la belleza de la patagonia por largo rato. Traful es un pueblo tranquilo y hermoso, es para disfrutar la patagonia es su estado mas puro y natural.

La vista del Lago Traful desde este lugar nos permite observar un paisaje fantástico, con la combinación de montañas, nieve, lago y bosque. Los azules del lago parecen pinturas.

Es una parada obligada camino a Villa Traful. Un lugar increible realmente mágico, paz, silencio, tranquilidad, 100% contacto con la naturaleza y el espiritu del lugar. Lugar donde podrás tomar unas fotografías sin igual. Imponente panorama!
