You have to admit that the view of the valley is amazing. However it takes like 25 minutes by car. The road is not pavement and in bad conditions. The other issue I saw is that there is not place to stay without being standing under the sun so if you have kids or if you want to stay to enjoy the view you can't. Flying with the guys there is very expensive. It was first week March and the price is $1200 pesos for 20 minutes fly. Also I am not sure what happens once you get the ground how you come back to the place where you left all your family? Walking?

Wanted to go paragliding here as highly recommended but couldn't speak to anyone to book it in advance so stayed in hostel la Cumbre and the very nice owner called up and booked it depending on weather. The guy arrived and drove us 20 mins to the top. He vaguely introduced us to two guys waiting up there who Spoke limited English, strapped us in without my explanation and off we went. Ride lasted about 15-20 mins and was great fun. If wind isn't there and you end up going down to the bottom rather than landing where you took off, there's a nice river you can swim in and a cafe so take some money and wear your swimming costume flying. Take lunch too! Cost us $1300 pesos plus we gave a small tip.

Great view, great people on top, paragliders who can also take you up on a tandem, or give you a ride to and back for a small fee.

Cerquita de La Cumbre por camino de ripio en buen estado se accede a este mirador del valle del río Pinto. Un lugar mágico para la contemplación y la paz.Desde aquí se realiza la practica de Parapente, y es muy linda experiencia ver el vuelo de los mismos junto a los cóndores de la zona.Lamentablemente no cuenta con ningún servicio al turista, ya que mínimo se necesitaría unos baños y alguna proveduría.

una experiencia que hay que hacer, llegar al río ya es un placer, tranquilo y hermoso, fuimos varias veces y todas estuvieron muy buenas.

Todo voador de parapente já ouviu falar de Cuchi Corral pelo menos uma vez na vida. Pelo segundo ano viemos para cá descansar e voar com o amigos, que nos recebem sempre com um largo abraço. Voar sobre estas montanhas belíssimas com seus rios e cachoeiras com a companhia de condores é obrigatório a todo parapentista que tenha condições de conhecer este lugar.

La verdad es que no es muy cerca, y el recorrido no es asfaltado, pero la vista es imperdible. Vayan con cámara en mano!

llegar a cuchi corral es precioso, todo un camino de montaña, ahi desfilan los parapentes multicolores y desde la cima del cerro se ve el rio pintos rechiquitito

Lugar ideal para hacer parapente. Yo y mis hijos de 5 y 9 años jugamos un buen rato en el aire. Hermosa experiencia!
