Excellent landscape and view of the pacific.Breezy winds which was very refreshing. Infrastructure was nice and there are lot of buses from valdivia to reach the Fort

We have read on La Tercera that this is Chile's most visited provincial museum in 2012 although how "regional" is defined is rather vague. For sure, this fort built by the Spaniards in the 1660s as part of Valdivia's extensive line of defence isn't as touristy as Isla Negra. Even when we visit in summer, it's not difficult to find a parking spot next to some artesanías, and there's no one obstructing the views of the Valdivia River and (from the lighthouse) the Pacific Ocean beyond. For some history of the area, check out the small museum dedicated to Los Ríos's indigenous cultures and (what else?) fortifications. On the way back to Valdivia (18 km from Niebla), stop for lunch at Cervecería Kunstmann but be prepared to wait for a table in summer.

was here during my first visit to Chile, it is a nice place to visit to understand the importance of the rivers in this area. not much infraestructure for turism but that adds to its charm. best to go in the summer while it´s sunny, would not like to be there winter, when it´s rainy and cold.

Es impactante observar los restos de las fortificaciones que hicieron los españoles hace varios siglos. La Historia que nos enseñaron en el colegio cobra vida. El paisaje natural es bellísimo.

Muy bien mantenido, hermoso. Historia de chile de la epoca de la colonización e independencia. Los alrederos playas, paisajes tienen un atractivo especial, recomiendo a quienes quieren viajar a la zon sur.

Me encanto este lugar, si bien los años han deteriorado las murallas del fuerte, se mantiene muy bien por el cuidado que han realizado. Tuve la suerte de ver la recreación que hacen si no me equivoco a las 18:00 hrs. Y la verdad es que es bastante buena, los que hacen la recreción son alumnos de de niebla así que de verdad un agrado poder estar allí

Estando en Valdivia era imperdible visitar el Fuerte Niebla, El lugar esta muy bien cuidado con los lugares bien distribuidos, estacionamiento gratuito (propina opcional), Se realizan tours gratuitos pero también se puede recorrer solo. Es muy interesante leer la historia ver las figuras, mapas y accesorios de esos años que se encuentran en el museo

Fuimos muy temprano a recorrerlo, y por eso el frio y el viento Muy buena la reconstrucción y las pasarelas para visitar el FUERTE, y aunque nosotros no pudimos verlo, nos dijeron que a la noche hay muy buen espectáculo de luces .
