I love this kind of small museums, seems to be poor in funding but rich in fighting for presenting a decent exhibition. I enjoyed the displayed items, got a much better impression of the diverse cultural life in Paraguay during the last 150 years. Beside presentation of arts, there was a small exhibition of Indian culture. Quite impressive clothes. Some about the history of the city and country development. Could have been nice with text in English and not only Spanish. And the museum is free of charge.I bought a small figure from the museum shop. Payed it in advance and they kindly sent it to my hotel.

Nice little museum. The location is nice too, very near to Escalinata Antequera, and no far away from the downtown area. The pieces are beautiful and well set. However there are few of them. The museum located accross the National Cathedral is much more complete (unfortunately this museum, called Juan Sinforiano Bogarín, has been closed to the public for more than a year). Anyway, this is a great initiative by a citizen who is kind enough to share his treasures with the public.

Para os fãs de arte religiosa... Não é nada fantástico, mas é possivel fazer uma visita bem rápida e depois seguir para os outros pontos da cidade!

Uma verdadeira obra de arte, com vários objetos de arte sacra exposto, grande variedade de obras bem localizado e conta muito deste belo País, bem na região central da cidade.

Conocer el museo de arte sacro nos remonta al tiempo colonial y el descubrimiento , sumado a la religion franciscana.Se puede apreciar diversas imagenes y figuras que rememoran el andar del hombre por tierras guaranies.

O Museu de Arte Sacra foi reformado e voltou a funcionar, mas é difícil de conseguir um horário em que tenha funcionário trabalhando e você possa entrar. Não confie no que diz o site e a placa do local.

peças lindas e muito bem conservadas!Uma pena que a iluminação seja ruim, dificulte a visualização das peças.Um must see da cidade!
