its really beautiful from thhere. if the gate is closed you can simply jump and get yourself inside.

We visited Filandia, Quindio looking for an alternative to overcrowded Salento, and we found it! The views are breath taking and the town in the hilltop is quite fresh. Amazing trails nearby with howling monkeys included. A couple of nice hostels near the plaza. Good music, coffee and smiley locals. Nature tourism meca, don't go any further!

Filandia is a small town, similar to Salento, but less known, actually I think is best, specially on holidays, this is a spectacular place to go with friends and family, share a good coffee or coffee deserts, and relax with the spectacular view that you will have while you were upstairs.

We actually found this place due to a GPS navigator error as we were trying to find our way to Salento. What a wonderful place, and well worth the 'detour'!! The view from the Mirador is fabulous -- in all four directions -- and the coffee served at the top is 'La Gaviota', a coffee that has won several international awards in the past couple of years. The gentleman serving coffee at the lookout was very friendly and helpful (although you will need to know Spanish to appreciate his knowledge of the history of the area). We spent a full two hours taking in the breath-taking beauty as the sun set over Filandia. Entry to the Mirador is very inexpensive. Highly recommended!

If you are spending the day in Finlandia it is worth walking down to the mirador for a look. Entry was cheap and while on the day we went the view was quite cloudy, on a clear day you are meant to be able to see 20 or so local cities. I wouldn't travel just to see this, but if you are in the area, it's a good way to spend an hour or so.

Es un lugar que hay que visitar, pues de allí se ven los 3 departamentos cafeteros, la arquitectura es hermosa.hace meses esta cerrado, lastima porque de los pueblos del quindio me quedo con filandia, y este atractivo era muy importante para el recorrido.

La vista es excelente auqneu hay que subir mucho. Se ve todo el pueblo. Las casas son las mejores conservadas.

Una imponente estructura arquitectónica hecha en güadua, típica de la región del Quindio, que ofrece una bella vista a gran parte del eje cafetero y El Valle. Es digno de visitar para tomar bellas fotografías y admirar la gran belleza del paisaje cafetero.

Estaba con mucha expectativa por ir al mirador de Filandia, Quindio, pues desde allí se divisan varios Municipios del Quindio y el Nevado del Tolima, pero ohh sorpresa al llegar estaba cerrado.Según dicen los lugareños hace casi ya un año lleva cerrado por que encontraron un cementerio indígena, por lo cual es patrimonio Histórico y hasta que el gobierno no decida que hacer no permiten la entrada. De todos modos desde la parte de abajo se alcanza a ver algo del nevado.El pueblo es muy hermoso, muy tradicional, unos paisajes divinos, sus balcones coloniales y su gente amable hacen de este municipio uno de los mas bellos de la Región.

esta e filandia quindio y es un pueblo muy agradable, con gente muy cortes. desde el mirado se pueden ver municipios de tres departamentos, Quindio, Risaralda y Valle.
