Liked the opportunity to learn about the Colombian history and also to enjoy a beautiful piece of art.Did not like the venue - the roads could be much improved

I guess it is OK if you like big, graceless monuments and historical significance. There are far more beautiful and historically significant places in Colombia. We were unimpressed. The area around has nothing much - you can eat the famous almojabana and drink some coffee. They have a few handicrafts for sale - pretty reasonably priced. If you're passing by, it is a good pitstop, but not worth going out of your way to get there.

Beautiful monument. Some handicap access. Lovely little plaza close by, but rough surface for old ladies

I am always impressed of how beautiful this structure is and the message that it conveys. Big part of Colombian History took place here and this monument is a breath-taking representation of it.

To appreciated this monument you have to know what it represents to Colombian people. Otherwise this will have no meaning to you. This was the place that one of the most important battles of Colombian history.

Uno de los mejores monumentos del maestro Arenas Betancurt, es una composición de no menos de veinte (?) esculturas representando a una parte del ejercito del libertador Bolivar. Los lanceros de Rondón.

hermoso monumento. Hay gentes que cuentan su historia y son muy amables. Ir abrigado porque hace mucho frío

Agradable el lugar , bueno dar el paseo en carreta jalada por caballos por la zona y oir la historia de la batalla del pantano de vargas por los muchachos de la región. Realmente alli nunca hubo pantano , era una tierra baja de una familia vargas de la poca.

Esta historia es muy interesante... y el monumento gigante y muy hermoso.. bien cuidado.Es un paseo obligado visitando Boyaca.

Es un lugar histórico, donde no hay pantano porque ya lo drenaron pero está el monumento que representa la historia y el papel que desempeñaron los campesinos de la época. Hay personas de la región que cuentan muy bien la historia.
