I thought the environment was beautiful. Tourist beware , no trash to be left anywhere except in trash cans. The city is quaint.

The Galapagos Island tour was so incredibly enriching in so many ways! The diversity of life is astonishing and I just hope people keep it clean and alive. So many wild animals. The sea turtles are wonderful. Definitely worth the trip.

My review of Wolf says it. If you are a diver and go to the Galapagos without doing Darwin and Wolf you might as well not go. Whale sharks, hammerheads, dolphins, etc. but not for a novice diver, also strong currents, cold water, big waves. I would go back in a heart beat.

Darwin Island (also known as Culpepper), honors the archipelago's most famous visitor, Charles Darwin. It is the northernmost island of the archipelago and is an incredible place for dedicated divers, along with its nearby neighbor of Wolf Island. To visit this Island you can only do so on a week long live-aboard diving trip. Regular naturalist cruises do not venture to this island as there are no visitor sites on land, you may only dive here. The Island is basically reserved for dedicated divers on a liveaboard cruise and not available for casual divers on daily dive trips from the main islands of Santa Cruz, San Cristobal or Isabela. Although Darwin Island has only a couple of dive sites, which are situated on the southeastern and northeastern sides of "Darwin's Arch", these dives can be absolutely overwhelming and divers often return to the boat awed by their experiences, like myself! Darwin's Arch sits above the surface on a wide, flat plateau (rock platform). Many who dive here believe that it is the best dive site in the Galapagos Islands and one of the best dive sites in the world, mainly from June - November when the presence of the Humboldt Current is the strongest. It is during these months that whale sharks arrive to the Galapagos Marine Reserve and you get to experience incredible sightings along with the regular schools of hammerheads that are present all year. We dove and swam right along a Galapagos Whale Shark!Sport Diver Magazine's 'TOP 10 Dive Sites in The World' Rankings always include Darwin's Arch. Why? Because nowhere else in the world will you be able to witness massive schools of Hammerheads and Huge Whale sharks during a single dive. If you are a dedicated diver and you want to visit the Galapagos, then experiencing a diving trip at Darwin's Arch is an absolute MUST!

It was the most wonderful trip of my life! I went to Galapagos last year during spring break , it is like living in the palms of nature. The marine beauty is wonderful. I will suggest everyone should visit this place at least once, and I would suggest for the sea route. I get to learn so many facts about the surrounding we do live in at Charles Darwin research center. As we know Darwin- The famous naturalist and scientist, who gave Theory Of Evolution, one of the most revolutionary theories science has ever known. It was surprising to know that the theory born at the very same island. Tortoise is other attraction here, I had never seen such giant tortoise in my life.

You can only get to Darwin and Wolf Islands on a dive boat live aboard and you cannot actually visit the islands as they are sheer cliff walls but the underwater world is beyond breath taking. Drop to about 60 feet, grab onto a rock and watch the show. Hammerheads, Galapagos sharks, Whale sharks, black tip and white tip reef sharks, torpedo rays, eagle rays, giant mantas, dolphins, fur sea lions, marine iguanas, giant green sea turtles, anglefish the size of dinner plates, parrotfish, grunts, wrasse and on and on and on. This is world class diving and will spoil all future dive sites as there is nothing to compare. Strong currents, cold water and unbelievable wildlife.

I would like to tell you about the best tour of my life.Everything on the tour was perfect. the crew did an amazing job taking care of all our needs and the dive guides were excellent. they have a lot of knowledge about the Galapagos and very experienced divers.The tour was on a boat named humbolt explorer. it included everything, from transportation from and to the airport up to a chef on board and great meals.About the dives: the equipment was excellent. Not a single problem through all the dives, and we saw all the animals we intended. Many fish in all shapes and sizes. five different types of sharks and specially the huge whale shark we swam with!!!! and there were also dolphins and killer whales swimming around. In the end, i would like to thank ISHAI ESHED from MontaniTours, Montanita, Ecuador. I was able to make my dream come true thanks to him. he helped me alot and for an entire month he made calls and mails and everything he could to get me and my friend on that Cruz. furthermore, Ishai also has information and attractions about Montanita and its surroundings.
