The beach was a bit small compared to Tortuga Bay. School was out so it was wall to wall kids. There weren't many places to sit down out of direct sunshine. The walk was only about 20 mins on the boardwalk to get there. There is a small lagoon to the right when you get onto the beach that has some flamingos in it. The flamingos look the same as the ones you see in Florida so no really big deal. If you had one beach to choose to go to, I would choose the longer walk and go to Tortuga Bay.

We didn't like the beach but we saw the flamingos, then was good to make the trip, this place is little far.

It's a nice and quiet beach, and there's a camping there. The bad thing is that the taxi costs too much to get there, and the drivers make you pay more than the service is worth, because there's no alternative.

In the Galapogas, it's hard to find good food for good value in a lovely outdoor style setting. We did at El Garrapatero. In fact, it became our dining room, with breakfasts and dinners. It took us a while to go (despite other good trip advisor reviews) and then we did and we liked it a lot!

It took me a while to get their by cab, but as the cab drivers are really nice and talkative en Santa Cruz this was no problem at all. The beach is beuatiful and very quiet. You can rent kayaks, but bring your own water, there is no place to buy anything there.

My guide and driver brought me here from Puerto Ayora. There's about a 1/2 mile walk from the parking lot to the beach. Off to one side is a small lagoon with flamingos and there is a wonderful camping area under the mangroves. Saw a couple of big sea turtles swimming in the waves. Marine iguanas were leaving their tracks in the sand. Nice beach, but not nearly as impressive as Tortuga Bay.

`This is the best place I went to see the great tortoises in their almost natural habitat, almost rain forest, big mud wallows, dozens of the great creatures both still and in slow motion. Wonderful

Right on the main drag, good food, reasonably priced, excellent waiter remembered our orders from previous visit which we ordered again!

You might see wild life depending on what time of the year you go there. The flamingos have very specific time when they go to the pond there, for instance. Rocky sides of the beach. Beware when you are entering the water so you don´t get hurt by them. Giant flies that bite. Wasps? I am not sure. But you want to know? I enjoyed all the time there.

There are NO misses on these islands.. Wherever your tour company takes you, you will not be disappointed ...A weeks is enough time to hit most of the top spots.. I suggest a cruise over a hotel thoughThere are tons of sites not listed on trip advisor because a beach might not be a destination ... Take a cruise to hit more highlights.. Trust me one island will leave you craving more, and they are more spread out than you think... Don't waste precious time staying in one central " start " point
