I love Jorge!! He recently helped my friends and I explore different parts of Ecuador in different kinds of ways. Without him we would have been lost in the sauce. Because Jorge's English is excellent, we were able to communicate with him well and have a great time in Ecuador. We were able to go on various boat trips, spear fishing events, and able check out the wildlife without having to go to a zoo. Jorge also pointed us in the right direction for some good food. My background is in biology and I really enjoy bird watching. Jorge suggested we check of Isla de la Plata. The animal diversity there is a large. I got to see birds that I have only seen on national geographic and have never thought I'd get to see in real life. It was breathtaking. Jorge teaches surf lessons. I decided to take a lesson since doing it on my own was not working very well. Jorge was very patient with me and helped me find my balance on the board. That was very exciting for me and now I really enjoy surfing. I cannot wait to go back to Ecuador. I highly recommend Sumpa Trip!!

I recently came back from a month long trip to Ecuador. My main goal for going there was to better myself in surfing and enjoy the beach. I didn't bring a surfboard there because of the cost with the airlines. My plan was to find something decent there and since it was my first time in Ecuador and speak really don't speak much Spanish, I was to say the least kind of nervous. On my second day there I was so lucky to find Jorge and SumpaTrip. Not only that Jorge had a board for me , but the price was awesome and it was a locally shaped balsa wood board in ideal condition. So that's how my experience with SumpaTrip started, Jorge is very very friendly and an excellent surfer and instructor, he is so good that even though i didn't take a formal lesson, he made sure to spend some time with me , watch me surf and pointed out some things, so i can get better! The rest of the month me and my friends booked multiple day excursions through SumpaTrip, I can guarantee you that Jorge's prices are the best , and not only that but me and my friends were treated as VIP! Jorge's knowledge and connections in the area are the best. He speaks excellent English and make sure everybody is happy and satisfied to the max. I highly recommend SumpaTrip, Its just BUENASO!!!

Jorge @ Sumpa Trip is the best Tour Coordinator I've met! He knows the country well, explains everything that will occur during any given activity. My trip to Ecuador would have been completely different without his guidance. I also explored other options which I found out try to gouge you and or setup chintzy trips with not up too par equipment. Feel free to ask Jorge anything about restaurants, evening activities, etc... He's a wealth of information on all there is to do and is more than willing to assist for his clients and visitors to maximize there fun and adventure. Jorge is also a very patient and experienced surf instructor, took me from 1st timer to catching waves in no time at all. I rented my surf board from him for the entire duration of the trip, he has a wide array of boards for every skill level and the pricing is very fair. What can I say, tour after tour the adventures got better, try the spear fishing trip; it was awesome! I more than highly recommend Sumpa Trip for any Americans traveling in this area, you won't regret it! Also FYI Sumpa Trip has great contacts for trasport vehicles from Guayaquil and Quito to the coast, super important if your not intrested in the local public bus system.

Jorge at Sumpa Trip is a font of knowledge about the area and what there is to do here. His English is excellent and he really cares about whether his customers enjoy their experience. My friends and I had a wonderful trip to Los Frailes and Agua Blanca. The information provided beforehand was excellent, our guide was really nice, the price was very reasonable and both places were well worth visiting. It was great to have the option to either walk to Los Frailes through the mesquite forest, with some beautiful view points on the way, or to drive straight there and chill. A real bonus for me was a delicious vegetarian lunch of vegetable tortilla, which Jorge had organised for me (it's often just rice, plantain and a bit of lettuce)! I've taken surf lessons from Jorge before and can definitely recommend him as an instructor. He's so enthusiastic and encouraging, it's impossible not to enjoy surfing with him!I would definitely recommend Sumpa Trip!
