Went there in june for a walk with a friend and her baby in a stroller. Because of that, we couldn't go down the steps besides the falls and see what was there. We parked at the Kabir Kouba interpretation center and crossed the street to the small path besides the river. Nice but not a long walk. To go to the falls, we had to go back to the sidewalks and cross the street to find it. It is right in the middle of the village. For sure, it is beautiful and you can take great pictures from the platforms. Since we couldn't go down the steps, we went back to the path besides the river and sat for a while to talk. We stayed maybe an hour in total. I will probably go back to see what there is at the foot of the falls.

A small fall ......nothing to write his mot her about...not the highlights od Wandake. The sit of the notre dame de Lorrette church was more interesting

is a wonderful walk along the river. Water, water and the sound of it, how is running and washing the shore.

This is a fantastic trail alongside the rushing Rivière St-Charles. You have to be able to manager 100+ steps down and up again and keep your nerve as you walk along the wooden pathway, sometimes suspended over raging water. It's well hidden, not well signposted but worth seeing out. Park at the information office in Wendake and head north along the trail returning along the main street in Wendake back to the info office.

The Rivière St-Charles walking path - of which the Kabir Kouba Falls is part - is a trail tha stretches from the Lac St-Charles to the St-Lawrence River. The Falls themselves are not accessible for mobility-impaires people, but some parts of the walking path are, closer to the St-Lawrence. Important to check if your group includes someone with a mobility imparment. The Falls are a lovely sight, especially in spring, and on a trip to shops or resto's in Wendake. Well planned and maintained, but lots of steps.

The parc offers a splendid view of the smallish waterfall and is nestled in a well-kept, informative setting. The falls themselves--we saw them at low water levels--are quite exciting but cannot compare to the Chutes de Montmorency, which woud be preferable unless a visit to the Kabir Kouba falls is part and parcel of a tour of the Huron-Wendat Museum or the Traditional Huron Site.
