I planned a trip based around Mont-Sainte-Anne and was told to go to Le Massif instead. Well, we did both, plus Stoneham(50 minutes away). Though I will say my favorite was Massif, I was impressed with MSA. It is a great hill for someone learning to ski as there is a lot of intermediate runs and alot of the black diamond runs are not overly challanging. In saying that, there is a nice section of diamond and double diamond runs on the left side of the hill. Not alot mind you, but whats there is challanging. Night sking is well done at MSA. Lighting there was great. The lodge is very dated and the food is as basic as you can get. If you enjoy an apres ski beverage, you won't like the bar at the lodge. It's dark and gloomy. The line ups to get tickets moved quickly and the staff were very friendly throughout the entire resort. Really nice view of the area from the top of the hill. From being in the area for a week, it seems like Massif has put more money into the hill and main lodge areas than MSA has.The resort is very overpriced in my opinion. We stayed two minutes away from the hill at for $600 less than we would have paid to stay there. Lots of great places to stay close to the hill without paying the resort price. You can still take advantage of everything the resort has to offer but honelty, thats not much. Some resorts are worth the price as you pay for convience. In the MSA area, there are so many great places 3 minutes or less away, your not forced into the resort. If you want to ski that area, stay close to MSA because it is centrally located. Massif is only 20 minutes east, Quebec City is only 20 minutes west, and Stoneham is only 45-50 minutes away. As for the hill, it has something for everyone but limited options the higher level you are.

Drive right past Mt Ste Anne and head to Le Massif. Mt Ste Anne is icy at best, while they have a lot of runs I find their maintenance sub standard. Le Massif is 30 minutes east, has a great vertical and they take much more pride in their grooming and maintenance. Mt Ste Anne is no Mt Tremblant, and the skiing experience at Le Massif is heads and tails above that at Mt Ste Anne. In my opinion for the value for your dollar you are best to spend less at Le Massif and enjoy much better conditions and atmosphere.In any case bring your own lunch to these locations unless you are happy to spend 15.00 on 2 hot chocolate and 2 soup.

We only took the gondola up to the top of Mont St. Anne for a hike and a look at the view. It was spectacular - The St. Lawrence in one direction and the mountains in the other. We also wandered around the condos and public areas. We can't wait to go back in the winter to go skiing.

Toute qu'une expérience, la vue est magnifique rendu en haut.C'était notre première visite, je ne sais pas s'il y a d'autres activités à faire... à part de la randonnées et du vélo de montagne à cette saison. :-)

Belles conditions de neige mais déçu par le personnel pas du tout chaleureux et surtout qui te rappelle que les sentiers ferment à 16h... alors qu'à 17h30 à ce temps-ci de l'année il y a encore de la lumière à l'extérieur.Trop peu d'espace consacré à la raquette par rapport au ski de fond, mais au moins on n'a pas l'impression d'aller piler dans leurs pistes, ce qui est un très bon point.Nous avons fait la boucle de 10.8km considérée comme "difficile", cela nous a pris 3h, et n'était pas très difficile, il est supposé y avoir un belvédère avec une vue mais tout ce qu'il y avait c'était pas de belvédère et une vue obstruée par des arbres. Il aurait été intéressant de pouvoir se rendre au sommet mais aucun chemin ne nous y menait.Lorsque nous retournerons dans ce coin, nous tenterons dans la mesure du possible de trouver d'autres endroits de raquettes, car c'était bien, mais beaucoup trop cher (accès journalier par personne 12.64$ tx in. pour la raquette)

Je suis allée skier au Mont Ste-Anne durant les vacances de Noël. Je n'étais pas allée à cette montagne depuis de nombreuses années.J'ai été déçue de ma journée.1- Le prix des billets de remontée adulte est très cher $72 + tx pour skier une journée. La carte accès ski famille n'est pas acceptée. Par contre, la carte passeport des neiges est acceptée2- 30 minutes d'attente pour acheter le billet au pied des pentes le matin.3- Télécabine en panne la matin4- Plusieurs pistes glacées même tôt en journée5- Des pistes "bleues" qui ne sont pas dammées et pleines de bosses. Pas de signalisation pour aviser. Pas évident quand tu skies avec des enfants. 6- Prix de la nourriture exhorbitant. On s'attend évidemment à payer "cher" dans une station de ski mais le Mont Ste-Anne dépasse carrément les bornes pour une nourriture à peine passable.Positif:1- Remontée en télécabine (quand elle fonctionne)2- Versant Nord a des pistes intéressantes mais beaucoup d'attente lors de notre visite.
