Had a 2 hour traditional morrocan ritual. I was greeted with a smile at the reception by Kim, the massage therapist, who gave me a little visit of the whole spa an then showed me into the treatment room adjacent to the hammam and told me I could leave all my clothes and valuables here. She said I would be relaxing in the eucalyptus steam for about 30 minutes i.e. long enough for the heat to open-up the skin pores. When she came back, she applied black soap on my skin and told me to lie for 15 minutes on the large marble table in the middle of the hammam. This is to allow the pores to absorb the soap. When she came back, she told me to rinse-off the soap under the shower head next tot the table and she then exfoliated my skin by scrubbing with a kessa glove. Once she was done, she told me to rinse-off dead skin. I hopped back onto the table again and she applied ghassoul (clay) on my skin and left me for another 15 minutes. When she came back, one last rinse and I was off to massage table in adjacent room for 30 minute massage.The whole thing is done very privately as you reserve the massage room and connection hammam for yourself so there is nobody else except massage therapist. It's somewhat intimidating to have this type of treatment done by someone of the opposite sex, as you need to be quite uncovered ... this is after-all a ''wash'' ritual. But from the start, Kim made me feel really comfortable and she is very professional and even leaves the room between each treatment.After payment, was offered tea in the lounge by owner Caroline.Overall, just amazing!
