Park is perfect size. Easy to walk around and slide for all ages. Love the big one you have to take a chair lift to go up! Snack back serve the best strawberry daquiri, make you feel like you on the beach in the carrabien. By ticket online to save the ligne up and save a little money. Souvenir shop have large variety, but have large tag price attach to it. Normal for this type of places. Overall grave exprience, will definitely like to go back

I've been here tree times. The first time I went it was on a Saturday I waited in line for hours. The second time I went it was on a Monday half the rides were under renovation. I don't know why but I went a third time it was quiet but they closed half the rides because it was not busy so all I have to say is read my review title.

We were 4 adults and one child in our party. We had a blast and loved all of the rides that we tried. We were there on a very, very hot and sunny day, therefore, everyone else was there too. Hours of waiting on end, so, very little time to be in the rides. Also, it was very hard to walk on hot cement and rocks all over, painful at times and I would recommend that you wear water shoes and go on the rides with them. Avoid crowded days....

We came here on the last Tuesday in August. We thought it would be "low season", but the water park was very crowded. The park is nice, with lots of room, plenty of chair and shelters, and unique slides. However, the slides had very long wait times (30-90 minutes)! We spent about 5 hours here and only got to go on three water slides. We did pay extra to go on the alpine coaster and the zipline, both of which were well worth the $4 each (using the coupon they gave us at checkin). A few attractions were closed, which made the crowds even worse. We went on two very fun slides requiring helmets, and they were unlike any other water rides we'd been on. However, that was the highlight, as the long lines pretty much put a damper on our visit. One tip: Use the locker rooms inside the park to change, not the ones by the entrance. The locker room by the entrance requires you to change in the bathroom stalls, which were less than sanitary.

This was the most thrilling water park we've ever been to! Some of the rides bordered on dangerous - but were fun none-the-less! Huge variety of unusual slides, a really great not-so-lazy river, The Colorado Ride - well that one was rough - scraped elbows - but thrilling! And don't forget to ride The Dragon!

Some rides were great, but some were may I say dangerous. .. Lots of walking for the higher rides. My boyfriend really hurt himself on a couple of them and he's a tuff guy, and I hurt myself also. Not enough staff paying attention to what is happening in the slides or in the water.

My family visited yesterday (August 5th, 2014). We were in town by Sunday, and drove by the park both Sunday and Monday and saw huge lineups. So we opted to try yesterday, because there was a chance of rain and we definitely made the right decision. The crowds were much lighter than the previous two days which made for a much more enjoyable experience. We were basically able to walk on all the rides.Things to be aware of, the pathways are very hard on the feet. Even if you wear flip flops and leave them at the bottom of the ride, the paths up the hills are hard on the feet too, so it doesn't save them much. We ended up buying water shoes in the gift shop (reasonably priced) at lunchtime and it was much more enjoyable. I could only imagine if the paths had been hot and coarse (it was a cloudy day so they were not hot too).Be aware you can buy lunch in the cafeteria which is upstairs, inside by the main entrance. There are some booths outside where you can buy food, but there is much more selection inside, and we didn't realize it was even open. Don't be afraid to check out the gift shop. We got our kids t-shirts for $5.99, a key chain for 99 cents, and the water shoes we bought were only $13 for adults and $10 for kids.As for the rides themselves, our favorites were the slides you had to take the chairlift to the top to ride. They are water slides we have never experienced at any other water park in the world. What amazing scenery, and it is so enjoyable to be able to slide down for 20 minutes! However, when we went right at the beginning of the day, and later when it was raining, it was a lot more fun going down without a big crowd of people. When we went in the middle of the day and it was a bit busier, it was harder to make it from slide to slide, as the basins got crowded. It intimidated by 10 year old daughter a bit as she was worried we would get separated.We did find the height measurements a little inconsistent. My 10 year old was way over the measuring stick at the bottom of the chair lift, but had a good couple of inches to go when she wanted to go in the activity pool area. She was turned away at the top of the Colorado ride, but when we measured her again at the bottom she appeared to be way over it. My daughter was a little bit unsure about the Colorado so we didn't fight it, but it was frustrating. All of those height measurements should have been the same (1 m, 40).The Niagara is a really fun ride but a long trek up! It is like a normal tube water slide you would find at any water park, but it is so much longer! And the view is so beautiful.My kids really liked the green tube slides and the twisters. The nice thing about the twisters is that they seemed to allow little kids to go on the laps of their parents which is nice, because in most other water parks, young kids would have to miss out on a ride like that.My younger daughter loved the little tube river, don't miss out on that! She went to the other kiddie area but found those 5 slides to barely move at all. She had to push herself to get to the bottom. This might, however, be nice for a very young child (2-3 years), so don't be afraid to put them down.Wow, those torrents are AMAZING! What a smooth and fast ride. We loved that one.The Manic is unlike anything we'd ever been on. There is one place where the waves come out of the machine that to be honest is a bit dangerous. My seven year old can swim, but is not a strong swimmer and was almost knocked out of her tube there. If she had fallen out it would have been a bit of a situation as the current is very strong there. However, it didn't stop us from going around many times, we just watched her carefully, and if you have a non strong swimmer with you, you may want to consider them having life jacket on the ride, even if it is not mandatory. The wave pool is pretty standard. The normal lazy river is fun, but to be honest we found that water colder than the rest of the pools/slides for some reason.We did really enjoy the temperature of the water. It made it so enjoyable to not be freezing when in the water. Especially on the ones you were in for a long time like the ones you had to take the chairlift up to. I was expecting the pool/spa hot tub to be warmer. It was warmer than the rest of the pools, but not enough to really warm you up if you were chilled. I wish the lazy river was warmer too. Not too many people were using it that day because it was not super hot out.The park has beaver tails which is a nice treat!My kids went on a couple of the kiddie rides in the Parc Fun section and it is nice they can go on in a bathing suit, but it is nothing too exciting and pretty standard rides.We did take a ride on the viking which was amazing. What a great view from the top, and it feels like you are going up and up and up forever. We would have liked to have taken another ride, but even at the discounted price we paid ($6 per ride) it was still a bit too expensive.The park has lockers, but we just parked close to the entrance and went back to our car at lunch to get our wallets and towels. Parking is free :) That is definitely appreciated.Regardless, we had an amazing time at the park and are already planning to come back again next year or the year after. I don't think it would have been as enjoyable though if we'd gone on Sunday or Monday because those lines were HUGE.This place is unlike any other water park you will ever go to and it is worth it just for the scenery.Oh, and one other thing, we are English speaking only. We did find that most signage was both French and English, and every staff member we encountered was able to speak English with us, if not fluently, at least a good attempt. However, we did find on more than one occasion, announcements were made in the park over loudspeakers or at an attraction, in French only. It seems they do have lots of English speaking staff so I would recommend they do announcements in both languages. That being said, we did come across a lot more people speaking French than we did English.Oh and last advice, if someone who works there is reading, we were looking for a magnet to bring home for a souvenir and could not find any in the gift shop! Regardless, it was a great park and we had a great time and can't wait to go back. I'm proud to be Canadian and have this park in our beautiful country. What a great place :)We also enjoyed the Acro-Nature attraction and stayed in the Morin Heights cabins but I will review those separately. (Also great reviews though :) )

I was very confident after Valcartier that I could do waterparks but St Sauveur quickly changed that. Even if the water is heated, it still is very cold (worse if there is no sun). The rides are quite adventurous and you need to be two on most of them so like it or not, you'll have to ride. The decor is quite simple, it's less about ambiance than thrill seeking. There is plenty of food outlets, too many maybe. There is little chance you won't be buying food even if you bring a cooler. There is plenty of shade and chairs readily available. All this said, we arrived at opening and closed the park at the end of the day so a determined person, even if scared, can still have a good time.

This place is unique. In the beautifull area of Laurentides, you will find an incrdible water park. Installed in full assembly of the popular Mount Saint-Sauveur, all will find their child's heart in front of multitudes of the aquatic attractions there. Whether it is the skids on tubes, the descent of the river in tandem, the méga swimming pool with waves and all other activities offered in a paradise of the nature. Right in the heart of the magnificent village, you will also have nearby, Factories, restaurants with profusions and shops of any kinds. It is an exceptional day which waits for you between friends or in family. You will never forget this place.

HUGE crowds on a hot day, they cannot all be stupid!!I took my son, his wife and their 2 junior school kids, they had a blast. I do not think that they really saw or care about what insulated the cross beams, they were too exited about the rides to notice. My son probably had the best time of all of them, especially the chute which you ride down on rubber rings. The Chute has ever vigilant but polite attendants in case anyone needs help or in the off-chance that someone does not behave appropriately. It does not bother me that they have not added much over the years, because there really is not much that is missing, unless you want to put in a casino .... not really, but you do get the point, this is a great place for a summer day for the entire family. For the person who just wants to chill out, you can ride a rubber ring along a man-made canal that circles some of the park, and you can spend as much time as you like. There are some rides with a height restriction, little ones not admitted for safety, which is paramount at any attraction and rigidly (but not aggressively) enforced here.One downside, food is not at all good, hot dogs etc, bring a picnic or go to Saint-Savear village nearby for really good fresh local Quebec food. I recommend the bakery, and the Charcuterie for the best Montreal style smoked meat sandwich this side of Valhalla, made on premises. There is also a small food court that sells the best of Quebec, remember that the province has very strict law about local produce, no chemicals allowed. Quebec is justly proud of its fruit, cheese, breads in who-knows-how-many styles, pastries, bagels and charcuteries (prepared meats). To arrive at the park from Montreal, take the Laurentian Autoroute North, exit 58 (direction Piedmont-Avila), left at Chemin (Way) des Pentes and " voila, vous serez là.
