This is a great golf course, but the condos have taken over! The first and 18th holes are terrible... at least they were at the beginning of this season. I haven't been back.Hole 18 is somewhere around 50 - 60 yards long.

Nice golf course, beautiful setting, good restaurant, Ekko Brazil, if you are a meat eater. Good size buffet. Pricey, nice atmosphere and good service.

The staff of Chateau Cartier Golf course are outstanding - so friendly and welcoming that you feel like returning more often. The course is very scenic along the Ottawa River, is only minutes away from historic downtown Ottawa and is well-maintained and challenging. Line is a super nice club employee and goes out of her way to make you feel very welcome.We will be back again and again as this course offers great value for money!

This 18-hole Golf Course is very well located and it presents good challenges. In fact, they have changed one of the holes as it was way too difficult, even for the very good golfers. I have been playing last year and this year… it’s my third visit so far. We really enjoy playing there. You can take a cart if you wish, but it is also easily walkable. The fairways and the greens are beautifully maintained. Be aware: week-ends are pretty busy. So, we try to play during weekdays. In addition, the cost is cheaper than what it costs during week-ends and if you are lucky, you can enjoy one of their specials, depending on the time of the year. You can finish this par 70 in the usual time allotted. Beware the bunkers that consume wayward shots at Chateau Cartier Golf Course, a public 18-hole course located along the banks of the Ottawa River. If you are from outside the area, you can also book a room at the well-known Hotel (by Hilton) and combine your golf experience with a discovery of the region’s local attractions (couple of minutes from a few good restaurants near Promenade du Portage and Laval St., the Casino of Lac Leamy, the Théâtre de l’île, Ottawa Market Place, etc.).

This course is definitely the best public course in Aylmer. It has Bentgrass so it's all smooth all over when you manage to hit the fairways. Their water system works good compared to other public courses in Aylmer their soil is rock hard. The price is also good for the quality, I'm the kind of guy who would rather chip in another 15-20$ more to be sure that the course will be better than just average. I would strongly recommend this course if you are visiting this region.

Enjoyed playing it a lot, very nice spot to swing the sticks. Challenging enough, good fees and great views on a course in good condition. Right along the river with Parliament in view.

Le club de golf Château Cartier est sans contredit un des plus beaux terrains de golf du secteur Aylmer. Les arrangements floraux sont meilleurs et plus élaborés d'année en année si bien qu'il fait toujours bon d'allier ambiance au plaisir de jouer au golf. Il a été reconfiguré récemment et il faut le savoir. Le travail acharné des spécialistes du terrain fait que rien n'y parait. Toujours un plaisir de passer du temps en plein air à cet endroit.A noter que l'hôtel a récemment changé de nom pour passer à Double Tree par Hilton.

C est un beau terrain plat avec 2 trous en hauteur. Il se marche tres bien et offre une belle vue sur la riviere des outaouais pour les trous 4,5 et 6. De prix tres raisonnable, la condition du terrain est tres bonne.

Ce terrain de golf offer un environnement tranquille,loin des tracas avec un terrain de classe professionnel qui ajoute au plaisir d'y jouer.De plus le terrain est attaché au fameux Chateau Cartier qui a un ambiance de chaleur et quoi de mieux après des heures de conferences se detendre sur un beau terrain de golf a quelque pas!
