Spectacular water-land panoramas is what makes this park so unique, Small but easily explored on foot, bike or kayak in 2 days. The trails varies from easy to moderate. Expect steep stairclimbers like the the Point aux Epinettes to give you some cardiac work up. Be sure to check the tide schedule before venturing out to Ile aux Amours. Two older women near us decided to abort the loop when they saw the sea rising. Finshing the loop on the beach when you know you can possibly be stranded in the island pumps up your adrenaline. The causeway alone is about a 10-15 minute leisurely walk. Just when you thought the weather is tame, a hike to Cap a L'Original reminds you that nature is a constant tug-of-war. The wind whips the coast at shipwrecking speed. Because of this, the grand tour on Anse a Mouille-Cul is closed for the season. Cute little touches of history at Maison Rioux, Dejardins and La Rose des thes. We were unable to hike to Ile au Massacre because the only access road through the Bic Golf course was closed for paving. The harbor seals prefers some privacy. Without powerful binoculars, specks of moving rotund creatures is all you see from a distance.

This is a must if traveling in Bas-Saint-Laurent. The views are incredible. There are many trails to do. One is called Le littoral and it goes around the shore. I highly recommend starting it at Ferme Rioux 1h30 before low tide. It is 8,6km to do the loop and it is beautiful. We also did Pic Champlain. It is 3km one way. The views at the top are incredible. It is true that if you camping Rivière Sud-Ouest the noises from the 132 are a bit annoying (where we camp our first time there). This time we camp at camping Rioux. You cannot here the highway and it is very peaceful. Each campsite has a small clothes line and there is a small playground close to the washrooms. You can see harbor seals and grey seals. We went in August and we saw lots. We were told that it was a good time to go to see them. In July, it is reproduction season. Seals prefer there intimacy and spend more time at sea for that. In August, they spent more time sunbathing on rocks. I also recommend reserving if you want to camp.

So charming, interesting and peaceful ! We had some great time there just relaxing, cooking great food and enjoying the many views. The Bic national Park is a place to go camping when visiting the province of Quebec. It is big and the footpath are just so wonderful. we enjoyed them very much just waking in no time frame and listening to nature. A place to see.

A friend and I went there one week ago. The view is breathtaking. We were driving in the park, but I would recommend biking and hiking if you are able to.

Beautiful views and scenery, walking the tidal floors and the islands is great, even with kids. Easy trails and not too long. You can see seals 200 feet away as they bask in the sun, many many types of waterfowl and other birds. If there is no wind, kayaking is a must (a little dear for the guided tour, but worth the $60 in my opinion.Just don't camp here, or do so with earplugs. As others have said, traffic from the main road, then every other night trains go through around 1am and 2am...

The park is a great place for bike riding. But camping in the Macreuse section of the park is a deceiving experience. The camping is adjacent to the provincial highway where trucks make a lot of noise (first, slowing down the steep hill then climbing up the next one) ALL NIGHT LONG. No trees, no shadow.

What a fantastic treat - watch for the signs to the entrance of this place off of 132! Best hike which is easy for the entire family is the water front hike about 6km round trip. Great views all around and a lovely history of the family owned once upon a time property. Excellent for children and photographers. Tea house FAB!!, get the tea and a pastry- the chocolate is local from the chocolateur in Rimouski - pastries were sublime - esp the cherry custard. Beautiful all around just loved it!

It was raining that day, so we did not rent bikes as we wanted, but walked around for a couple of hours. We recommend the place: we saw a few seals laying on their rocks. We walked around Ile des Amours, which was nice as well. Beware of aggressive mosquitos!

This ain't Banff or Yoho Park ... Todo. It's OK; but not all that spectacular. The RV Sites aren't worth the $45 OVN Fees. No shade or much privacy. This is what you are gonna get, when Enviro Freaks design a site. Heads in the swamp!I see this as Walmartitis ... treat your customers like crap ... & they will come back for more. I suggest you take your camping business to the private sites nearby & day visit Parc du Bic; as others advise in this website. I found the OVN Traffic noise didn't really bother me. Very nice washrooms; but why only 1 toilet in men's? Don't like the sensor taps. Nice modern dish wash station.

Oh My God! Incredible place! We went to the path near the water. I regret that I didn`t take a bath suit - water was so clean and transparent! It took us good 3 hours to walk there - and temperature was changing drastically - from really warm near the little lake to cold and windy when we came to St Laurent Shore. We were quit tired and unfortunately didn't go to the Pic Champlain as planned. I'm sure it would be gorgeous there as well. Would love to come back!
