This park is undeveloped, basically just wilderness with a 4 wheel drive connecting to the north and ferry access. There is an old landing strip. Mount Shepard is a popular hike for residents with a nearby stop at Cathedral Lake. The trail is not well signed at the trail head with the 4wheel drive down to Anderson Bay. At the first main fork on the trail, stay left and after that keep to the main trail. Near the top signage indicates Mount Shepard off the fork to Cathedral Lake.
