Wanted to get some more skiing in for this year and it has been such an odd year with very little snow. Went to Whitewater for the first time, it was fantastic I ended up just purchasing a beginners lift pass which was great value - $35 for 3 hrs of skiing I think is fantastic, they had a variety of hills for the one side of the mountain.Great food to boot to, beautiful mountain.. did have to leave a bit early (2:00pm) since it was starting to get really busy and the snow was getting a bit mushy.... what a strange winter. I would recommend coming early, at this time of the year - there was less people and the snow wasn't mushy yet.

Our 3 days at Whitewater were definitely a case of what could have been! Unfortunately due to a pretty poor winter we were limited to only riding the groomers but it was easy to see what would be epic lines & great steep tree runs off of all 3 lifts. There was a park that was well maintained & the food at the base area was excellent & really good value. Would love to come back when the Snow Gods have been kinder!

Although this is not your typical snow year, I could see why it's so desired when there is powder. Still, the beauty surrounds you. For expert skiers, this place is paradise - steeps, trees and powder on a good year. The lodge has an extraordinary gourmet lunch menu. I also highly recommend skiing with one of the super friendly and knowledgeable "Snow Hosts." Looking for a new place to ski? Head over to Whitewater.

Wow!A nice small station with lots of snow. It'a a very cool place, the food and the coffee at the station are the best I had in all my ski trips.Dont go there if you are looking for a modern station with quads and stuff like that.But if you want to have fun without complications, Whitewater is the right place to choose.We are planning to return next year!

This is one of the best kept secrets in skiing and snowboarding. White Water has incredible snow conditions and very few people to compete with. Every day is a powder day at White Water! The best part about it is exploring all of the easy to access back-country, but don't venture out there without an experienced group.

Skied here for a day prior to departing to nearby Ymir Lodge for a week of backcountry skiing. Since this was my first time visiting Whitewater we took advantage of the ski area host tour to learn more about the area and the runs available (meets at 10am out front by the Silver King chair). Excellent food options are available at Fresh Tracks Cafe too. Due to the low snow levels this year (as of mid Feb), this place had an ample amount of snow and lots of open runs to have a great time (Note: several areas in Washington USA had to close in February). Close to Nelson with many lodging options and very good restaurants. I'm eagerly awaiting a return visit when I can experience the exceptional skiing at Whitewater during a dump of new powder snow.

Whitewater is an amazing place for worshipers of pristine powder snow, but it should not be thought of only as as a place for downhill skiers and snowboarders. Much more economically one can spend the day on their gorgeous cross-country ski trails (the most scenic I've seen anywhere), either on skis or on specially designated snowshoe paths. There's nothing like the quiet and serenity of pausing along such a trail and watching the sun create a halo of diamonds as it peeks through the frosty branches of a tall and slender Douglas fir tree. Whitewater--not just for the thrills, but also for the peace of mind.

The staff at the lodge and lifts were very friendly. The food was good and reasonably priced. We will definitely come back soon!

Very fun hill and Terrain with lots of back country tree boarding and skiing. It often has tremendous snow. Ski lessons are available for most ages.

This is the opposite of the mega resort. This is a great challenging hill loaded with good people who are excited to be there. No fashion shows, just awesome alpine skiing. The slow lifts actually provided a nice break. Whitewater has a lot of challenging terrain. Also the food in the cafeteria lives up to it's rep, it's awesome! Can't wait to get back here!
