The building has a history. Heck, the whole town has a history. Don't hesitate to ask questions. The locals love to tell the stories about the houses on stilts, brothels and good old mining days.

We ate at the Toastworks 3 times in two days ! Loved the antiques and the home like atmosphere , wait staff is very friendly with lots of helpful tips for things to do in the area . Highly recommend .

If you are in town and are looking for breakfast than look no further. With most of the food including the jam made on site, you won't find anything better for the price.. Just recently opened for lunch and it is just as good as their lunch.

I loved the huge collection of not only toasters but other kitchen gadgets and machines. I would like to see some interpretative signage about what I'm seeing. The cafe part wasn't open off-season - I would certainly eat in these surroundings.

this building wasn't so much a museum attraction as it was an eatery. We had breakfast there. It was very busy with guests who were being served by but one hostess. The food was excellent, much if it made on the premises. The location was great.

This place is a gem. The breakfasts were tasty and a good size. The staff were very friendly and made you feel at home immediately. That you have the random nature of a toaster museum to boot. How can you lose. If you're in Stewart, give it a try.

What an awesome collection of the past.....Fun place to hang out and vista all gadgets of the past and great building being restored and preserved.

Apparently the museum has never opened in it's history. This is according to the locals in town. Maybe if you ask someone who works at the hotel, they'll let you in.
