My husband and I had our first Guest Ranch Chilcotin Holidays visit several years ago and have been talking about it ever since. We were so impressed with the setting and had a life-long memorable horse pack ride up into the mountains for an overnight; all very well organized. We enjoyed meeting other guests but were mostly impressed by the array of delightful young people who worked at the ranch in various capacities including our trail guides, kitchen staff, etc. So we made a last minute decision to return again this December 2014 during Christmas vacation, this time taking our aging dog and staying for two nights in their wonderfully huge cabin, sharing meals at the guest ranch. We had a wonderful several hour guided horse ride in snow up to the top of a high ridge for a picnic lunch. We were just as impressed on this second visit as we had been the first time. What a lovely group of inspiring and interesting young people working there; obviously a well run organization and would highly recommend it to both visitors and people looking for a unique working and learning experience! I had an amazing trip to spectacular Brett Camp in November. It was good camaraderie with the international staff. Good food, good cabin and great hiking.I am looking forward to doing it again for New Years. See you then.

I went to Chilcotin Holidays as a non horse rider and after a detailed western riding orientation, I was riding the mountain trails. I rode across a creek, up steep hills and to a mountain top look out. Thanks to my amazing horse Mowson and my guide.I'm looking forward to do a camp out trip next time.

Wow!! What a spectacular view. I went on a 3 day pack trip. I really enjoyed horse back riding on the back country trails, seeing the falls, and having a picnic lunch in the meadow. We horseback rode up to the ridge and then walked out to an amazing view overlooking Leckie falls and deep valley. I also enjoyed the campfire and being one with nature. Watching the mountain Goats and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Thank you so much for the hospitality, I cant wait to go back again!
