I have played the course multiple times last year and with fantastic views and enjoyable golf play, Furry Creek is a must on a golfer's to play list. Although I wish there was more par 4s and less 3 and 5s I never fail to have a great golfing experience here. It certainly is something special.

We got married here on Sept 14. The venue and the staff were amazing. Even the cleaning staff were super friendly. (to the bus-girl and dishwasher : I hope you liked the gluten free cake pops :) )I can't say enough about the venue. It is picture perfect. It must been seen to be appreciated. The wedding co-ordinator at the time was Jen and she did an amazing job.The only critique I have is to the management: please sign your wedding co-ordinators into a contact. We went through 3. We booked with Jill (who is amazing), she went off on maternity leave and we got her replacement who quit a month before our wedding and neglected to advise us that the food options we had picked were no longer available. Finally we got Jen who picked up all the pieces and helped us have an amazing day. (Thank you Jen!). To avoid stress and confusion down the road, we recommend management implement a contact that co-ordinators be required to stay until the end of the season. The food was amazing! We are still getting compliments about it.We golfed the next day (after the wedding)It is a very hard, very long course. But worth it just to see the views and the interesting landmarks (bridges etc).

My fiance and I went up to the Furry Creek Golf and Country Club for a wedding on September 14th. Everything was PERFECT! The food was outstanding, The servers were polite, personable and professional and the club its self was beautiful and well maintained. We had to have a shuttle up to the actual ceremony site, and they made sure to do their best to be safe and timely along the narrow golf roads. I would DEFINITELY return to the Furry Creek Golf and Country Club and recommend it to anyone looking for a venue for a special occasion. Thank you Furry Creek Golf and Country Club for helping to make it a perfect day!

We played here on vacation today because we could not get time at Whistler. We are not from Canada and neither we nor our playing partners had played here before. I have a19 handicap and my husband a 14 but I found a number of the holes unplayable because of long uphill shots over ravines. We had an embarrassing number of lost balls but the company and scenery were super so we plugged along. Half way down the 17th we were approached by the Marshall who berated us for at least 3 minutes because we should have been on the 18th tee box. Never mind that the group ahead was a twosome or that we were obviously not local. We ended 7 minutes over their recommended time. We had also offered the group behind us to play through but they declined. I would not play this course again if the paid me to do so! There are a number of really fine local courses. I would stay away from Furry Creek if you don't known the course or if you are a woman with less than a scratch handicap!

Terrible service. The ladies washrooms are all in the outhouse - disgusting and dirty, no running water and lots of bugs and mosquitos. No garbage cans anywhere. Golf carts were dirty, ball cleaner containers had very little water and was extremely dirty. No ball cleaner in any of the holes. You won't find any extras here - no tees, no water bottles, no towels - nada. The only thing that was nice were the views. Food at the restaurant was average. I would never go back to this place.

Gorgeous course. Breathtaking views. Challenging but fair. There are some forced carries and tight lies. A little challenging for women. We have played about 200 different courses and this is definitely in the top 5 for the scenery alone. After the round we had dinner in the clubhouse overlooking the 18th hole. The food was good but the view was more delicious than the food.

So, right off the top - you can't walk this course unless you're mountain goat. And you will very rarely take the driver out of the bag. From your tee shot on #1, a long iron layup off a cliff to an impossible dog leg (more than 90 degrees) on #18, this course will continually test your patience but reward you with spectacular views and scenery. For serious golfers, don't be serious, because the course is maddening in parts. Par 5s that you have to lay up with short irons off the tee, blind tee shots etc. The course was in very good condition though the bunkers were a bit thin in places with some rocks mixed in. If you play the yellow tees, it's a tough track unless you have the patience to hit the shots the course will give you. Off the white tees you could play this course with nothing more than a 5 iron and do very well if you are a great iron player. As other reviewers have noted, it is a very tight course on the 4s and 5s. Some funky pin positions with lots of undulation on the greens as well.BUT the vistas and natural beauty of the course makes at least 1 visit mandatory - absolutely beautiful!

Course is not long but super fun. It's a resort course so "PGA types" relax. The views are great. The fairways are slim and it's a fun round.

This course overlooks the bay and is essentially tacked onto the side of the mountain. There are constant elevation changes which make play by a visitor quite challenging. The opening tee shot is off a cliff side tee box down to the entrance road level with a lake to the left of the small fairway and to the right of the tree line. Most of the holes have significant elevation changes. The signature hole is along the bay and a very nice par 3 which may be challenged over the water or around the fairway opening. Hard to justify the visitor green fees.

We stopped to play this course on the drive up to Whistler. The course is in good shape and has very pretty views. The course is a bit odd layout wise due to the terrain. I hate courses with a par 3 as the 2nd or 3rd hole, as it slows down play. Some of the par 5's are crazy. I couldn't take driver, Had to use a 9 iron off the tee to layup to hit a shot over the ravine. Very annoying. Par 3's seemed short/normal to me, compared to the other female reviewer.
