Hubby & I went to this guest ranch for 7 days, following a four day stay in August 2013. The riding was as good as we remembered it; the wranglers helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, the horses great! We took our RV - a 28 foot fifth wheel and had no trouble on the easy gravel road to the ranch from Clinton, averaging 70 Km per hour. Nor did we have trouble parking it at their camping area. While they have power hook up, we stayed in the higher camping area as we were self contained. Husband and I are experienced riders, and thoroughly enjoyed the different types of rides we were given, ranging from broad open meadows filled with wild flowers (you gotta see that), trail riding, blazing our own trails in the cool woods or galloping along the hilltop beside a scenic canyon. Most rides were around 2.5 hrs, but we did an all day ride to Little Bar Lake and watched the Sandhill cranes and red-winged black birds. Friends joined us for the first few days, including one that had never ridden and another who hadn't ridden for some time. Both were well-matched to horses they felt comfortable with, and also thoroughly enjoyed the rides. Enough, in fact, that they booked a return trip immediately! We joined the rest of the riders for two dinners while we were there, and one meal was superior! We'd go back in a flash! Special thanks to Joel our primary wrangler! You are the best! But Lucas gave us an incredible ride as well! The owners, Bryan and Amber, were very hospitable, and put on a fireworks display for Canada Day for all us guests! Really appreciated everyone's special efforts to make sure that we were all very welcome and our needs/interests met.
