Truly the best view of the narrows! An awesome interactive exhibit recently opened. It was neat touching the screens to read about the artifacts.

This is a new museum and the building itself is great. wonderful views. Lots of different displays some changing regularly. Lovely tea room with wonderful tea served in a pot and made with boiling water a first for me after a month in Canada --bliss!! the cakes are fab too!

The view alone is worth going to The Rooms. Was there on a beautiful day in February. We were able to look over the city with the ocean in the background. The lunch was very tasty and light. I would absolutely recommend this place for lunch personal or business.

Lots of stuff to do and see. Great Newfoundland exhibits and art. The Cafe is nothing special and a little pricey for what it is but the view is amazing.

There is always something to see and learn and enjoy. Easy parking. Great cafe -- love the seafood chowder.

The food is excellent. Lovely views of the waterfront. Always an exhibit to take in or browse the interesting items in the gift shop.

The excellent exhibits, the fantastic restaurant and the rooftop viewing area are all reasons not to miss a visit to The Rooms.Add extra time to whatever amount you are planning to spend. You won't be disappointed

There is nothing to dislike about The Rooms, there is ample prehistoric, natural history, modern culture, and visual art on display for all tastes. The side of The Rooms which faces the Ocean, offers very nice view of downtown St. John's and the harbour. There is also a nice little restaurant offering up local fare.

A stunning setting for a cafe, inspired architecture, some of the best views of the city regardless of weather, ever-changing art exhibits, fun museum activities, great gift shop, and archives on site. It's easy to spend a day at The Rooms, and I love taking visitors from out of town for lunch there. Plan to go early enough to snag a table by the window, and save time to wander through the exhibits and admire the views. Delicious food, interesting use of local ingredients, and great coffee are bonuses. No fee to enter if you are going to the cafe only, and reasonable rates for admission for other attractions.

The beautiful space is broken up into many individual exhibits which separately, don't take much time to view. Lots of open space in the middle to sit and relax and let the kids wear off a little energy. The restaurant is very good -- lots of updated traditional dishes and good service.
