TMNP is one of the most beautiful places in the world. It is totally remote with access only by ship, air or hiking. No cell or internet access. In the fall the colours are amazing. Travelling there requires an adventurous spirit and passion for nature. Adventure Canada offers great cruises for those who want to experience the wilderness without the primitive travel experience. Experts in photography, archeology, history, culture, birding, geology and literature travel with the passengers to give a broad spectrum experience. I call it "university on water". All travelers need professional guides who carry firearms to protect travelers from bear attacks.Tripadvisor has this location incorrectly listed. There are 2 Hebrons in Canada, one in Labrador adjacent to Torngats, the other in Nova Scotia. Tripadvisor has been notified and hopefully will correct the error on the travel map as it may create confusion for travelers.
