Just a great local and 'ole time' row of fun places to visit, eat at, sip an ale or two. Atmosphere plus. :)

Located right near the Province House, this is a quaint one-block pedestrians-only area. It is called Victoria Row but it is actually on Richmond Street. No cars are allowed on this part of Richmond Street. There are several restaurants -- many with outdoor seating-- and several shops. We enjoy Victoria Row because of its interesting buildings. This whole block was destroyed by fire in 1884. Most of these commercial buildings were rebuilt shortly after the fire. You can still see names of the original owners on the buildings -- Newsom, Morris, Cameron, and Brown.

A nice small assortment of restaurants/pubs with a good variety of food choices. Outdoor patios welcoming. Service was very good at the 2 eating establishments visited for dinner.

An eclectic gathering of different shops and restaurants on a "no drive, walking only" street, cobblestoned, outside musicians playing a variety of music, open air cafes, enjoyable and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

excellent shopping and restaurants. Relaxing to have the street to walk on rather than a busy sidewalk
