Enjoyable but was under construction and a large part of 3rd floor exhibit area was closed so our visit lasted about 45 minutes. A nice small museum.

This is a good place to go to. There are lots of artwork and exhibits that everyone will enjoy. Its a good way to spend and afternoon in Windsor.

I always say that the art gallery is a great place to go on a first date, so much to see and discuss and that opens up so much wonderful discussions. I just go there alone, or with family and a friend who loves culture and arts as well.But, this is a nice place to see! The art is different and changes so even if you been here before you can come again and again and the different artists projects and displays. Unique, beautiful, horrific, poetic, surprising, smart, silly, comfortable and so much more to describe what you may feel in visiting and taking the time in really checking out the Art Gallery of Windsor.I enjoy this place, many many people I do know have never been here and are stuck in their closed mindedness to even try to appreciate it. I am glad I did, Hope you do too!

If you are an art lover, the Windsor Art gallery is a must go! It has relatively old paintings from their vaults which they showcase on the third floor. The second floor exhibits keeps changing every few months a year and are nevertheless very interesting! The Arts Gallery is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

Visited the art gallery while visiting from the states. This is a free art gallery. I wasn't all that impressed by the exhibits. There are 3 floors mostly wall art, very few sculptures.

Longtime visitor of the gallery, well before the casino hit town. The staff is freindly, the exhibits vary and are interesting. We would like to see more windsorites exhibits. Overall a great family visit.

I have been to the Art Gallery many times and always walk away disappointed. To be fair though, it is not as much an attraction as it is just a community art gallery that hosts events. It's a beautiful building with a fantastic view of the Detroit river and Detroit skyline and it makes for a good stop if you're going for a walk along the river front parks/trail. I've also attended a wedding ceremony at the art gallery and it did make for a gorgeous but confined setting. This is definitely not a place to bring children unless they're really in to viewing serious art. Perhaps the biggest complaint about the art gallery shared by most residents of Windsor is that the place gives off a vibe of higher class and sophistication, which is fine but that appeals to a very small segment of society in a community that lacks family activities.

Winsor Art Gallery is currently showing the work of an exceptional artist..he has made many life size models of people in their everyday lives and work.Actually, if you get close you feel that you are encroaching on their personal space ! The skin colouring and even tiny hairs in the skin are visible on grandmothers, policeman, fireman, commercial painter, etc. Not to be missed. Their riverfront park is a pleasant place to be, especially if the large freighters are nearby, and the view of the Detroit skyline is outstanding. Not much else to comment on that could be found in many other cities. If you like Casinos theirs is o.k. but avoid the prime rib.
