I've been going to the Westfield Halloween event for years, and I highly recommend. It is always fun without fail, whether for the younger kids that we bring or for the adults.

This park is full of well kept up buildings. The rural location really brings you back to time period. A variety of different types of building filled with interesting things inside. The anual event on halloween is very cool and fun

Beautiful setting with lots of old buildings and period era accessories. Amazing that the old RCMP log building I walked by for years at Parkdale and Queenston is now the gift shop. And that old steam engine from Gage Park is sitting in a very appropriate setting of a train station. Wonderful.

We went during the "Ice Cream Social" event in August. We enjoyed touring the buildings, playing carnival-style games, having a wagon ride, and sampling ice cream. I was impressed that almost all of the buildings were original, moved to the site in the 1960s. The volunteers were dressed in period costume and were very knowledgeable. We had a fun afternoon. The price was a bit steep for a family, would have been nice if there was a family rate.

No where near as good as it was several years ago. Rather disappointing, in fact. No longer were there entertainers. While staff were churning buckets making ice cream, very few had anything ready for sampling. We managed to get all of 2 samples all day long. The village is a great place to visit but I wouldn't hurry back to pay the premium admission for this special event weekend. Not worth the upcost.

Beautiful place to visit and LEARN a lot of interesting details about the life in 1800's. Almost everything that you take for granted today... it wasn't like that 200 years ago. It was a HARD life. We were there on Aug 3rd which is the Ice Cream Festival. The ice cream (made with real cream) is including with the entrance (just $11 p/adult) and you can spend at least a couple of hours to visit all the building and to be in the same train station where Anne of the Green Gables was filmed.

The ice cream festival was a fun outing, and Westfield was a fantastic venue. The buildings were opened for a thematic approach to the event. Great spot to explore and take a few fun pictures while learning some history. The apothecary and train were big hits.

We go several times a year tovisit -usually for Maple syrup festival, ice cream festival, christmas visit and another somewhere in between. There is always something new to see and do. The people that are at each of the stores or houses are always friendly and knowledgeable. They really do a great job here, have lots of tidbits to share with visitors.

Very nice village, and a must-see in the Maple Festival.Have been there twice, and spent hours and I still haven't seen all the shops.

It had been a long time since I have been to Westfield but the memories linger. There is a lot to see and do here, who I think the entire family will live. My favorite time to visit is in Christmas, where there are many activities for everyone to get involved in.
