It's not exactly cream of the crop camping, sure if you have a boat it's the only place in woodstock to launch it but with that being said, over fishing and toxins as well as blue mould have completely killed the fishing aspect. In fact it's an ontario ban on eating anything that comes out of it that you do in fact catch.

Has a poor swimming area, not well maintained and too many geese and related droppings. The lake never stays open all summer because of poor water quality. I won't go back.

I had the unfortunate time at Pittock conservation area, It was like being in a cemetery, you couldn't play your music, or have too many people on your site, because the old folks are in ca-hoots with the other campers that have been there for years....they complained about everything you can think of. Even if you talk too loud, I would advise if you want to have a good time at a RV or Campsite, I would advise not to go there, also the water sinks, can't swim in there water, plus full of green guck all along the shore line, Some of the people where nice but, I found a lot of people to be two faced, nice to your face and behind you back they will stab you....I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THAT PARK ,They have so many pets there and some don't scoop, so watch where you walk, and dogs barking all day all, well for me, I will look for a much much better place to enjoy my golden year, please take this review to heart.....

We began our cycle on the Millennium trail system and then followed the Burgess Park trail and the Roth Park trail, eventually ending up riding along the Pittock Reserve. It was an interesting and relaxing cycle. It was also good to see many other people out walking or cycling on the trails. Its a credit to the community of Woodstock that there are nice trails like this so close to the city.

This park is disgusting and dirty. The beach is full of water foul droppings and no sand to speak of, just mud! The front gate attendant is rude!! Stay away and go to Wildwood at St. Mary's. Very very clean and nice staff.
