Visited September 12th Came here with no expectations, as one of the only things to do on Wolfe Island.. Such a great afternoon spent getting lost amongst the corn fields. Lovely family run farm, very welcoming. Only the 2 of us there at the time, made it even funner running around. Provided gum boots as it was a little muddy, and a few refreshments are located throughout the maze if you get thirsty for a small fee. Owner changes the maze every year, hopefully we will be back in this small town one day soon. For only $9 per person, it's a great way to spend 1/2 an hour if your good at mazes or 2 hours if you're like us. Thanks for a great day

My whole family was super happy with the corn maze!! There was 22 of us and Garth and his family made sure we all had fun. We were warmly welcomed, given clear instructions and played some games. We had so much fun in the maze and it was difficult but our team was greatly impressed! I would suggest this corn maze to anyone looking for family fun and for a great time! Thanks so much Garth and his family! Enjoy

My wife and I honeymooned in the Thousand Islands region (and Quebec City) back in 2010 (Tripadvisor would only let me select 2013 or later). We overheard someone in a tea shop in Kingston talking about a corn maze on Wolf Island. Off we went to find it!We got there after dark on a tuesday night, so there was no one else around. The owner came out of her house and was so nice and accomodating. Since we were the only ones in the maze, she gave us a walkie talkie, in case we needed help.Boots were provided, since parts of the corn maze were a bit muddy. It never got too bad, but we were grateful for the boots.Being on the island - and in the shadow of a giant windmill - made things kinda spooky. We coudln't have asked for a better time - and a nicer host. We will never forget our night in this corn maze.

During our stay in Kingston, we decided to take the car ferry (free) to Wolfe Island. I looked up what to do on Wolfe Island and found out about the corn maze. Thought it would be a nice surprise for the kids. We were the only ones there and the host and owner greeted us when we got there. He supplied rain boots and walkie talkies and recommended we split up into teams to complete the race. So my son and I went one way and my wife and daughter went another and off we went. The maze was... a maze ing :). It was huge! My son and I finished it in 28 minutes, my wife and daughter finished it in 48 minutes. What a blast. The kids (and parents) really enjoyed it and it was a highlight of our trip to Kingston. We were then showed some farm animals, which was a nice bonus.HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CORN MAZE!

The whole experience was great, Garth and his wife warmly welcomed us to his property and ran us through the need to know information before getting us going on the pre maze activities. We were a large family group of about 18 of all ages and the corn throwing challenges were a good way to bring out our competitive juices. The mazes were awesome, we had a great time sneaking and racing against each other to get to the ice cold beverages awaiting us at the end. Garth was a man of his word and insisted we wait for the big home-made cookie he made us to come out of the oven. It was worth it. Legend.

We had a GREAT time at the corn maze. Walkie Talkies were provided so when our group of 4 split into two groups we could razz each other through the maze. There is a long maze and a short maze; you can pick one or do both. If you pick both, you can have a rest and grab a cold drink before starting the 2nd. The mazes are very well thought out and maintained nicely. I will definitely be back the next time we visit Kingston. I can't wait to do it at night!!! You should definitely take your car on the ferry though or rent a bicycle as it is a VERY long walk from the ferry dock. We went with 4 adults and had fun racing through the maze but I would definitely bring my children for a family adventure as well. :)

We took our 6 & 8 year old for an afternoon excursion there. The maze was very well thought out, and they even had drinks at the half way point to purchase on your honor when you returned to the barn. Rubber boots were readily available to borrow, since it had rained the day before. We took some wrong turns but got help from some workers in the maze to put us on the right path. Very pleasant staff :). I'd take a bigger group next time for sure!

I had the pleasure of biking out to the corn maze on Wolfe Island today. It's in a beautiful setting, rows and rows of tall corn amidst fields and windmills, at a farmhouse right off the main highway, not too far for a short drive, bike, or walk from Marysville by the free ferry from Kingston. I went through the maze solo so was provided with a walkie-talkie in case I got thoroughly lost, and the woman who helped me out was lovely. I met the donkeys, sheep, and farm cats, who were all happy to be petted. The maze itself was fantastic, lots of twists and turns with wooden ducks to guide you on your way. At many dead ends there were jokes or inspirational sayings posted. I found myself hoping to go the wrong way just to enjoy their sense of humour.I did the long course, which took me about an hour -- a fairly fast time as I was solo. Families with young kids will want to plan for longer. There's also a short course for folks with less time. There are lots of benches or hay bales to rest on throughout if you want a leisurely stroll, and a lovely rest stop a little over halfway.Since I was solo it was a wonderful way to rest up in the middle of a long bike ride. Thoroughly enjoyable, I will be back.

We took my 13 year old son, and 5 of his buddies to the Corn Maze for his birthday party. From the moment our host, "Garth" welcomed us, the adventure began. The Maze is carefully thought out, and so much fun! The adults were the last to emerge, and "Garth" had all the boys engaged in corn chucking and toss games. The boys were having a blast. The BBQ afterward and roasted marshmallows on the huge bonfire was perfect. As we left, hostess, "MaryAnne" presented my son, Robert, with a giant fresh baked chocolate chip cookie for all to enjoy! It just doesn't get any better than this. The Corn Maze has my vote for the best birthday party venue out there....fresh air, exercise, fun and games....and not one of the boys missed having their cell phones! A small group of 30 somethings and our dad completed the long course just after labour day while discovering Wolfe Island and had a blast! You can tell a lot of thought and time has gone into the creation and maintenance of the maze- it is well worth the admission price. I can't believe I have lived in Kingston for so long and never been. Before going, we were thinking the maze was going to be geared more towards kids, but we found it rather perfect for adults. Each of the dead ends on the course have some sort of a joke/ riddle/ questions and those were quite entertaining, so it wasn't necessarily a bad thing if you hit a dead end. We broke into two groups and used the walkie talkies to be a little silly (who doesn't like an excuse to use their walkie talkie lingo?), and also help each other when we split up to check out different trails. Would suggest anyone going to wear close toed shoes as those with flip flops had to keep stopping and taking the hay out :) also, plan on spending somewhere between 1-1.5 hours to complete.
