We had my son's 10th birthday party here today and he loved it! He's already asking when can we go back? Our party was 7 boys, aged10-11. All of them thought it was great and said they wanted to have a party here. It's true, the doubles karts go faster, but the kids weren't complaining about the speed. We paid for a birthday package which included pizza, drinks, and kart time (about 20 minutes). All I had to do was show up with cupcakes and a bag of chips. If you are looking for a no fuss party that boys will love, this is it. We also were given a kart tire that my son's guests could sign as a memento of the day. A very fun day!

We used to have a blast at Goodwood when we were kids. Tried to recreate the experience with my 3 teens on the long weekend. Ouch.. After driving up from the Beach area of Toronto we had fun watching a few races with carts piloted by 8 - 12 yr olds travelling at 100 kph. Our expectations were high as we waited our turn when the public rental session started until we saw the group before us take to the track. It was like watching paint dry, grass grow, ice melt... point made. I could run faster. We all looked at each other and decided to ask for a refund. Six of us had a group rate of $135 +tax for 14 min each. The staff was polite and explained that regulations limited the carts to a max of 36 kph. I would be surprised if they even attained that speed!

9 of us went here with adults and kids ranging in age from 11-17. With full gas around the entire length of the course, the speed was laughable. Not fast enough to pass anyone or have any fun at all. One of the adults just ended her 9 minute race early because her cart was even slower than the other really slow carts. I would say you could run faster. The guy said it was the Ontario safety regulations that enforce this speed. Apparently there is a different course you can sign up for where you drive real go-karts but it's more expensive. We live in the are a and definitely will not be back unless the go-karts are sped up. My 11 year old daughter, who was scared to go because it was her first time, wanted the cars to be be faster.Too bad because it's a great track. Would be nice if you could sign a waiver or something to be allowed to drive faster.

We have visited Goodwood Kartways many times in the past couple of years to watch our nephew race. They have race days and we have had to turn around and go home because there was no where to park. That's a little dissappointing! Don't go on a rainy day. The parking area is not paved and it becomes quite muddy.

Took my kids there on a Tuesday night and after driving 40 minutes to get there I find out it's not open to the public on week nights after sept 1st. Too bad it did not say this on their website. Kids were very upset. Took them back again today(Sunday) the karts were being supervised by a ten year old kid who had no idea what he was doing and was already arguing with two different customers. Finally got our karts after 20 minutes waiting and head out on to the track. These are the slowest karts I've ever driven! Except for the one black kart that had a grandmother and little kid in it that lapped me and my two teenage sons three times in ten minutes! The track is gorgeous but stay away from this place unless you are there racing your own karts. This was a giant insult to me and my two boys and a total waste of $70!

A bit pricey, $28 plus tax gets you 15 mins, but they are pretty relaxed about a few extra minutes here and there it seems. Karts do vary greatly in speed but just ask the attendants which ones are running fastest that day. Tip: the black ones are for doubles but are waaay faster. If no one is there wanting to double up they will give you one.....track is beautiful and well maintained and is actually used for pro Kart races. A little imagination and you can pretend you're at Lemans! Overall we had a great time. My 9 yr old son was in heaven.

The track is beautiful the speed of the carts terrible. Turtle comes to mind. If your kids is 5 yrs old maybe he/she would enjoy it but older than that forget it. People working there told me they can't go faster because the motors are government regulated. What a joke. Awful. Track isn't really for public use, the track is used for professional go-cart racers and when we watched them go... WOW! FAST! Get your own go-cart and then you can have some fun. The track is beautiful and well maintained.
