Lotomband Glen is a well established old style golf course. I use the words old style to indicate that this is a golf course that has trees in the fairway. The course yardage goes from 6095 to 4895. There is a lot of room for any level of play and player. The par is 70 and each nine holes has three par threes. If my count is right there are eight dog legs. Although there is a number of water hazards, water only comes into play on three greens. That is if you play on the fairway. The depth of the greens on the approach varies from 17 to 45 feet. Sand can come into play around the greens on nine holes. To me the greens are medium fast with what I call interesting personalities. I have played this course twice with friends. It is a charming course with mature trees, undulating fairways, and sufficient hazards to keep you on your toes. I consider the fairways to be of medium width allowing for those golfers that do not always hit a straight ball, a chance for a good second shot. In my opinion, the course is well maintained. The greens hold well, and the traps are well looked after. The staff are very friendly, and there is a nice restaurant with a good menu. The course also has a driving range and a practice green. The prices for nine and eighteen holes, with or without carts are reasonable.I would recommend the course to any average golfer. It provides all the challenges one needs with only half the frustration I normally have in a game. It is a very beautiful setting.Rick B
